44. COME SOON

                                 DAY 8:
There is some serious knocking at the door finally made aarohi come out of bed, she is been up for hours but is too lazy to leave the bed, the weather is also cold and looks like it's about to rain, so again weather giving license to be in bed and be lazy, although Neil tried to get her out of the bed and ask her to accompany him for a walk to the dairy since they are out of milk, she did the drama of being sleepy so he went himself saying he will be back soon, now knocking repeatedly on the door, irritating aarohi.

"Why couldn't you take your keys with you," said aarohi a little louder before opening the door, only to close it back within a fraction of second

There is again a knock on the door that brings aarohi back to her senses, it wasn't Neil at the door, it's her vansh bhaiya calling her to open the door, she was about to open the door after calming herself down that's when she realized that she hasn't worn any pants, so she ran toward her room, grab whatever she can find to wear under Neil t-shirt, thinking her brother won't notice that it doesn't belong to her, that's when she heard vansh again
"Aaru opened the door before I broke it down." he sounded very angry in his voice, and aarohi gathered some courage to finally open the door again.
"Why did you close it? Did you think I didn't see you the first time," asked vansh, entering the apartment
"I was just shocked " replied aarohi nervously,  the sudden visit from her brother who she didn't tell where she was staying here at her door in the morning is something you are allowed to be shocked about.
"Where is he ?" Vansh asked aarohi, still anger laced in his voice.
"He is out to get some groceries. How did you know I am here?" Asked aarohi to vansh
"Well, I had some idea when he will be back," asked vansh, going inside the apartment
"Soon, bhaiya, why are you here," asked aarohi, standing in front of his brother to go further in
"Why do you think I am here, I am here to take you home with me," said vansh, almost yelling at her sister
"But why," said aarohi in a low voice, afraid a little
"Aaru what's wrong with you, how can I  let you stay here with the same men, same place where you committed suicide last time  when you were here," said vansh in a voice that reflects how much his heart is breaking, and aarohi doesn't know what to say, how does he know about all that, or what Neil has to do with it
"Yeah akshu told me, she is worried about you, I may be able to convince her that the guy is not at fault but I am the one who is in doubt now," said vansh said softly this time, aarohi still lost words here
"Why didn't you tell me what happened? Why hide it from me or our family, what you thinking,  coming here back," asked vansh with tears ready to spill any moment
"Aaru, I am asking you nicely, and last time, you did it because of Neil,  or is he involved in that decision of yours?" asked vansh, holding aarohi's hand for any kind of reaction
"Bhaiya, you know Neil, do you think he would hurt me?" said aarohi, putting her other on top of vansh's
"I don't know if I know him or not, he lied to me to my face that it was an accident,  he kept hiding it  from your brother, our family,  keep lying to our faces, "said vansh with so much bitterness in his voice
"He lied because I wanted to. He always did what I wanted him to do. It's not easy for him either to lie," said aarohi softly
"No aaru, what he did is not justified, I am your brother, and I had every right to know just like akshu did. You wrote everyone a goodbye letter, where is mine aaru?" Said vansh now, tears had made their way onto his cheeks
"Where is my letter ?" Asked vansh, sliding down on the floor, aarohi too crying and now on the floor with her brother
"I am sorry, bhaiya, I know you have every right to know,  I am sorry I am not courageous enough to tell you sooner," said aarohi, trying to wipe vansh's tears
"Aaru, what happened,  why you did do it? Why here away from your family, "asked vansh, wiping aarohi's tears
"I don't have the will to live, that's why I did it and for that cowardly act I can't be around all of you, bhaiya it has nothing to do with Neil,  he saved me from myself that day if it wasn't for him  I wouldn't be able to sit here," said aarohi speaking at the same time crying in his brother's arms, vansh just nod at her before hugging her sister on the floor
"Does Kairav knows " asked vansh in a normal voice after some time when she calmed down a little
"No, only akshu and Abhimanyu apart from Neil,  Neil told them, "said aarohi, wiping the remaining tears
"And you can't tell him, not him or anyone, please bhaiya," said aarohi again. With tears in her eyes
" they are family  they will support you, aaru," said vansh
"No bhaiya, please, I am not strong enough to stand in front of them after my cowardly  act," said aarohi with more tears spilling
"Is it because of your break up with Neil that time
" asked vansh after nodding at her request
"No bhaiya that happened after, stop blaming him, he doesn't have any idea about my mental health struggle, he was nothing but someone who is the reason I am alive and still not trying to repeat that" explained aarohi while harshly wiping her tears
"So he breaks up after you end up in the hospital after you fought for your life there," asked vansh, getting angry again
"Bhaiya, I asked him to leave, and he did what I asked him to do. Again, stop blaming him," said aarohi calmly
"Still, he deserves some beating, keeping you in the same place where that happened. What if it triggers something," said vansh, getting up from the floor
"It's me who is keeping him here. It's not the place that triggers it," said aarohi, getting up after vansh
"Still, you won't be staying here. Let's go home," said vansh, looking at aarohi
"Bhaiya, I can't go home before my reunion trip ends," said aarohi, embarrassed by the lie
"Then you will be staying with me in the villa, just not here," said vansh firmly
"No bhaiya, I want to live here, I am not going anywhere," said aarohi firmly
"I am not leaving you here aaru, it's either home or villa, choose which one but I won't let you stay here more than you already did," vansh said with firmness in his voice
"Okay, fine, but I won't be leaving without informing Neil, "said aarohi, agreeing because she knows there is no point in denying her brother now
"He didn't inform me that you were staying with him in Udaipur, I was out of town for two days otherwise I would have come sooner, so you won't be informing him, now go pack your stuff, we are leaving now," said vansh before wandering off in the apartment
"You guys changed this whole place, "said vansh, entering the kitchen
"Yeah, all that renovation, why didn't you tell me that you were coming or akshu told you about that, " asked aarohi, standing just behind vansh
"So that you guys hide somewhere else, this apartment is something now," said vansh, now entering the bathroom
"Yeah, about that, the apartment needs some really good makeover," said aarohi, taking a little pride in the effort she put into this apartment
"This bathroom is so much better than what we have in our home, whose idea is it to put a jacuzzi in it," asked vansh, entering further into the bathroom
"It was mine, and mind you "Aarohi's words trail as she saw his brother see a bunch of condoms packets on the countertop, embarrassment is all over her face, and it gets worse when vansh looked in the dustbin which is almost full of used condoms, aarohi ran out of the bathroom as quickly as she can.
