44. DREAMS AND FEARS

                               DAY 7:

Neil groans in his sleepy haze,  looking at the watch now, it's past 11 am, realizing how late they were sleeping Neil turned to his side only to find it empty, this doesn't surprise him at all, aarohi had always been an early riser maybe it is because of being an intern, has to reach the hospital and all the things she includes in her morning routine, he vaguely remembers the ringing of alarm and telling her not to wake up, because it's way too early, they both slept late after engaging into another round even they swear off that what happened in the balcony was the last of their adventurers day, guess they both did act like some Neanderthal after all,  a smile crept on Neil's face thinking this, normally he wouldn't use this word not even while he is only thinking but her effect on him is too much.

Locating aarohi in her room watching something on her phone and ears being busy with that, Neil silently got out, knowing she could be on call with her family or something, Neil went on with his day.
That was 1 hour before the scene,  now Neil took his bath and all and went to her room only to discover she is in the same position before eyes on her Mobile, thinking about it aarohi would never be on call with family this long, she always cut it as short as it is possible and she was wearing his t-shirt,  so a video call is definitely off the table, so taking his steps towards her broke her concentration, she look up from the phone and gestures him not to come closer if it was done by someone else Neil would jump towards her, but it's aarohi he could never deny her even he wanted to, that much power she holds over him and she doesn't know that yet.

Neil went to the kitchen ,knowing aarohi well she didn't had anything since morning except for coffee maybe , that's she take without any doubt, but to Neil surprise not only she  made a sandwich for herself but left half for Neil too and Neil also noticed she also had some fruits, Neil is constantly smiling while making himself tea , how long she is been up really for all this,  and not only for herself but she considered about him is alot for him , thinking about that Neil thoughts drifted to how she is actually looking healthiest she's been with him like this,  I mean at first when they started she actually looked healthier but with time , or each day she kept on loosing weight and body mass , that could be the first sign he should have noticed,  but he was so lost in that store room sex he was having almost daily,  questioning her about anything is out of the bound , she not only not answer them but also refused to have sex whenever Neil tried to ask any questions related to what were they doing , Neil being his horny self think sex Is more important than any questions,  what if he quit being selfish for once and confort her about the weight and all , maybe she would stop , but knowing aarohi she wouldn't stopped,  she would just stop that arrangement with him ,either way she kept on hurting herself knowing well the consequences, thinking about all this Neil smile dropped majorly.

Losing his appetite while thinking about all of that, Neil quietly started working on lunch, since it was already quite late, after spending a good 1 hour in the kitchen cooking and cleaning it, he decided to finally fetch aarohi from the room since she didn't even come out for once from her room.

"There you are. What were you doing for this long?" Asked Neil, entering her room, seeing her sitting on the bed while holding her head between her knees,  Neil got tensed. What's with this position

"Doing revisions, I had this feeling I am forgetting what I studied, turns out I did so had to revise it from the start," said aarohi without looking up, as Neil come sit beside her
"I thought you were the one who decided not to think about anything while we were in here," said Neil with a smile on his face she groaned, hearing his words.
"Well I said that but that was about not thinking about the hospital,  a doctor can't forget about her studies, especially since you are an intern and about to give MS, anyway leave it you wouldn't understand how tough to become a doctor," said aarohi now looking out of her hand, still not looking at him
