Chapter 25: Fight Club

POV: Tails

"I found someone" Silver says. I start to regret going with him when the lights turn on and there are dozens of mobians coming out from around corners and out of rooms. "Silver, you did the wrong knock" He chuckles "Oh, Sorry." A purple chameleon walks up to me and cocks his head "So. What can you do?" I raise my eyebrow and he turns to Silver "Why'd you bring him here if he doesn't even have any special abilities?" Silver chuckles "Well first of all, I can see that he won't be a threat to us, he's going to be a big help, I just can't tell why, it's blurry. And second, he told me he is against the organization, and seems to have more info if he could trust me. It seemed like a good time to bring him here." He turns to me, rubbing his head "Sorry I couldn't tell you before we got here, I didn't know who could be listening. I have quite a few powers, the most powerful being Psychokinesis." I smirk "I kind of figured you did since you wear inhibitor rings." He raises his eyebrows "How did you know what they're called?" I shrug "Shadow wears them. I'm assuming you're also like shadow in the sense that he has too much power so he has to wear the rings to tone it down or he can overload and cause a chaos blast that will take out entire towns."

The chameleon and Silver exchange a look of 'Holy shit' before turning back to me. Solver chuckles and says "well, no, I can't cause a chaos blast, but my power does become too much for me to handle without these rings." I twirl my tails and fly up into the air "I can do this, and I make a lot of inventions that help us out in battle." I fly back down to the ground and look back at Silver "We have others too. I'll tell you more about it later. It's a crazy story." The chameleon speaks up "Well, my name is Espio and I can go invisible. I'm also the fastest runner we have here." I smirk and think 'You'll like Sonic and Shadow then.' Silver speaks up "You said you have been in battles before? When? We're mostly a peaceful group, at least until we can come up with a plan to destroy the organization." I chuckle and look between the two mobians."It's a long story, maybe we should go sit down somewhere?"

We head into a back room, just Espio, Silver and I, and shut the door, sitting on the couch to talk. I take a deep breath 'I can trust them. They wouldn't tell me about their powers if they were the bag guys.' I look up at Silver and begin my recap. "Well, we're not from here. We actually traveled from another dimension and we're trying to get back. Actually, we are only here because Sonic and Shadow were fighting so intensely that they chaos controlled to the Master Emerald and knocked it off. The Emerald apparently got mad according to knuckles and teleported us to this universe... But being the hero Sonic is, I doubt we'll be able to go back before helping out here anyway. In our universe, powers are looked at as just a part of us, and actually heroic sometimes. There's a bad guy trying to take over the world, named Dr. Robotnik who Sonic defeated almost daily and we call Eggman. Ironically, your robotics teacher is your universe's Eggman. Supposedly our Eggman used to be like Dr. Ovi, but a lab accident turned him evil. Also, This isn't exactly our first time accidentally traveling to other universes or dimensions. It seems to happen a lot actually."

The two listen to my story in shock and awe, Silver pursing his lips at the end before responding with "Well, that explains a lot. So, I'll recap you on a bit, then we can head to science club if you'd like." I nod, agreeing and he continues "Basically, the organization, as we call it, is called Guardians United Nations, or G.U.N for short-" I cut him off "G.U.N. is behind this??? If their layouts are anything like they are in our dimension, this might be easier that we thought. They're kind of a good guy in our dimension and Shadow and Rouge worked there." 'Hmmm, I wonder if they had a secret Project: Shadow they never found out about?' Silver widens his eyes "I sure hope so. Anyway, they decided when our worlds combined the mobians with powers posed a threat and needed to be 'dealt with' so to speak. They have a secret prison somewhere and keep the ones they capture. My sister, Blaze, is one of them. I know she's still alive because she still appears in my premonitions. Let's go back to the school now, can you convince your friends to come with you Saturday? Today is Thursday in case tou didnt know. Any time is fine, we will probably be here all day. This is where I, and a few others live." I nod "I can definitely do that."

We head back to the school and go to Science club, I see Sally there and wave to her "Oh, hey Sally I didn't know you were in the science club too." I turn to Silver "She is in my robitics class." I walk up to her "How's your car coming along?" She chuckles "Not great. I got most of it planned out, but I don't know how I'm going to relay it to the remote." I chuckle and explain what she should do and she gives me a big smile "Thank you, you really do know your stuff. I hope it works." I smile back at her "no problem, I hope you win." She sighs "That all depends on who got the other car." I give her a thumbs up like my brother gives me "I believe in you" She smiles and continues with her science experiment. After science club, dabbling around with the equipment they had, I finally head home. Knuckles and Amy are sitting on the couch giggling quietly, looking at Knuckles' new phone, so I walk up to them "Sorry I'm late guys, it's been a crazy day." They giggle and Amy says "That's ok Tails, I want to hear about it, but come here first." She waves me over and I go sit on the couch on the other side of Knuckles. He shows me his phone and it's on a picture of Shadow and my brother cuddling in Shadow's bed. Knuckles chuckles and whispers to me "Sonic brought Shadow home because he was drunk and when he didn't come out of Shadow's room I went to check on them. And I saw this." I cover my mouth and quiet my giggles "Oh my gosh, that's so cute. You don't think they?- Y'know" Knuckles shakes his head, chuckling "No, I heard Shadow crying, so he probably just asked him to stay with him." 'Shadow? Crying? Since when? Well, I guess he is drunk' I shrug my shoulders, and Amy smiles at me "So how was your day Tails?"  I smile back at her, recapping my day, leaving out the part about the secret group, not wanting to tell them until they're all together. Knuckles raises his eyebrow at the end "You said there's an armadillo named Mighty? I didn't know he was still in school, he works at the gym with me. Well, not WITH me, he comes in after I leave." After a while of us chatting, I head to my room to work on my plane a bit before going to sleep.
