Chaoter 36: Deviled Egg

POV: Eggman

I wake up and slowly open my eyes, looking around. I see that I'm sitting behind... bars? And look down to see that my hands and feet are bound. I think for a minute, remembering how I got here and look around for the attacker. I finally spot him, doing something with my machine. Afte ri get my bearings, I decide to ask the question on my mind. "Why did you attack me? We could work together, after all, two minds are better than one. Especially ones that are so similar." He turns and smiles evily "Oh, you're finally awake. There's no point in working together. You're of no use to me. You kept opening a portal to my world and I need to know why. Clearly it's the cause of this machine. But why does it seemed to be locked on to my universe? What are you planning? What happened to your Sonic?" I groan, my head now throbbing "Him, Rouge, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Shadow all disappeared to another dimension and the Master Emerald is gone as well. I was just trying to find them so I can destroy them. I have no idea why it was opening a portal to your world. It clearly needs adjustments." He cocks his head to the side "Tails? Shadow? Who are they?" I chuckle "Your world doesn't have those two? No wonder you were able to defeat them. Tails is Sonic's best friend, he makes inventions that almost compare to mine and can fly with his two Tails and his plane. And Shadow.. well, he's extremely powerful. He has chaos abilities and can chaos control wherever he wants. He joined Sonic's team, kind of, they still fight a lot, but he's against me most of the time, and that's all I care about." He nods and thinks for a minute before doing our 'idea' face. "You said that the Master Emerald is gone? Well then why don't we use the machine to lock onto the energy signature of the Master Emerald. Tell me the code" I sigh and then smirk. "Only if you untie me" He laughs "No, I guess I'll have to figure it out myself."

He keeps me tied up for days, only feeding me egg salad and giving me plain water to drink. At least I have a bathroom. I lay on the ground, watching him tinker on the machine, opening up different portals and peeking through for a minute before crossing something off a list. He adjusts a few things and jots things down before doing it again. During the first day, he had convinced the robots to work for him. Those traitors. He has Orbot and Cubot disabled and locked up as well, since they couldn't decide who to choose. They told me the only reason he didn't dismantle them was to torture me. How sweet he thinks I actually care about those rust buckets. The rest of them decided he's more evil and the 'better villian' and they have been out doing tasks for him. I don't know what he sent them out to do this last time, but it can't be good. I hear his radio go off and one of my robots say "We have successfully destroyed the targets houses, what do you want us to do next?" He grunts and puts down his tools and stands up, grabbing the radio. "Destroy the city. If you spot any of Sonic's friends, or people who associate with him, capture them. Kill everyone else. Show no mercy." I shiver 'He really is more evil than me.' He groans and heads back to his work, exclaiming "Damnit I forgot where I was Ugh. Useless robots distracting me. I'll dismantle 2 of them for fun later." 'For fun? They did nothing wrong. This guy needs to be stopped. He's psycho.' I shudder and continue watching him work, seeing his progress

After a couple more busy days and silent nights, he seems to have gotten somewhere. He peeks his head in, smiling and jotting something down. He turns to me after shutting off the portal. "Tell me what Tails and Shadow look like." I raise my eyebrow. "And why would I do that?" He walks closer and pulls out a taser, placing it on the metal bars and activating it. The entire cage he has me in is a highly conductive metal so it sends shocks throughout my entire body. He stops after a few seconds and laughs that maniacal laugh. "Because, I can just kill you and take over your position if I wanted to. I'm only keeping you alive for fun. Either tell me, or I'm destroying another world for fun and then I'll kill you afterwards." I gulp and look up at the twisted, well even more twisted, version of myself and sigh "Tails is a yellow two-tailed fox with a white belly, face, and white tips on his tails. Shadow is a Hedgehog who looks very similar to Sonic, but he is black with upturned quills and he has streaks of red in his quills, arms, and legs. He also has a tuft of white chest fur." He smiles as I finish my story "Perfect. Then I found them. I can't wait to kill Sonic again. Oh Ho ho Ho! It was so fun the first time! I can't wait for how fun it will be the second time! This time, I think I'll kill his friends first! I can't wait to see his face when I do!" He starts laughing maniacally again. His laugh is so deeply evil that it's enough to send shivers down my own spine. He walks over to the table and starts studying what I can assume is my plans for two robots. 'I'm supposed to defeat Sonic. This just isn't right. Oh chaos please help me now' I watch as he jots down more ideas and plans on the schematics. He chuckles evily before he turns towards the tables, continuing my work from before, but with added steps.
