POV: Amy

We all watch as Sonic begins rubbing Shadow's ears again. Making him purr. We all glance to each other, shrugging our shoulders. 'Guess the game is over now.' And quietly get up and head to the kitchen. We stand as far away from the living room as possible, not wanting to disturb the two hedgehogs, and whisper to each other. "That was... something~" Rouge whispers, gesturing to the two hedgehogs still in the living room. I shrug my shoulders whispering back "Yeah, I thought shadow would be mad to have Sonic in his lap. But now they just look comfy." Knuckles whispers, while still staring at them "Yeah, not to mention Sonic brewed enough for the two of them and pulled out a coffee cup for Shadow to use this morning." Rouge coos "Do you think there's something going on between the two of them?~" I shrug my shoulders, Knuckles now looking at both of us. "Maybe. It would explain a lot. But I'm not sure. Shadow still seems somewhat hostile. But he definitely seems more... open?" We all shrug our shoulders at the same time and Rouge turns to Knuckles "So, I don't work until 6, do you want to go on a date with me?~ make it official?~" he smiles and kisses her 'Not fair. I want to be kissed by someone.' I think to myself as Knuckles replies with a purr "of course~"

They sneak out the back door, not wanting to go through the living room, and I hear Shadow's purring stop and he says lowly "Damnit hedgehog, stop making me do that in front of the others." Sonic chuckles in response "Well, for one, they left. Two do you want me to stop all together? Because I will if you feel weird about it, since I'm your friend." 'Friend? They've basically been flirting with each other since we got here. I mean, just look at them being all cuddly right now.' Shadow chuckles "No. I don't mind. It's nice. If I didn't want you to, you'd already be very aware of it." Sonic chuckles in response and I look over at the two, curiously watching. 'He's still in his lap?' Sonic is looking up at Shadow, and Shadow is gazing down at him, their noses nearly touching. 'Are they actually gonna kiss?' Sonic clears his throat and looks away 'Aww, scardy cat...wait why am I shipping them?' Shadow smirks at this and Sonic speaks up "So... I was wondering if you'd let me practice riding again? I think I'm ready to ride up and down the road this time." 'Shadow is teaching him how to ride his bike??? Ohhhh maybe that's why they've been closer' Shadow smiles at him "Sure" he then smirks evily, "But you're gonna have to get off my lap~"

I stifle a giggle, not wanting to be caught lurking, and watch as Sonic scrambles up, blushing red "Sorry, Sorry. I was just comfy and forgot where I was sitting." Shadow chuckles as he gets up "Oh?~ you were comfy in my lap?~" Sonic just slaps his arm "Oh shut up Shads. You were comfy too. Otherwise, you would've told me to get up sooner." He just shrugs his shoulders as he walks towards the door."So what if I was? Can't a guy like a little physical attention without it being weird?" Sonic shrugs and chuckles. "I guess that makes sense." And they walk out the door. I hear the bike start up and go down the road and sit down at the table. 'Well.... Now what am I going to do?'

POV: Shadow

We head out on the road on my bike, I decide to ride around a bit, letting him practice his leans. After about an hour I head back to the spot we practiced the last time. We get off, letting the bike cool before I motion towards the bike, looking at Sonic "So, do you want to practice around the parking lot first? Or do you want to go ahead and just take it on the road?" He thinks for a minute before answering. "I want to practice what I've leaned first to make sure I'm doing everything correctly, then I'll take it on the road." I smile back away from the bike "Ok, keys in the ignition, I'll watch from here." He gives me a thumbs up and hops on, starting the bile with ease and kicking the stand up. I watch him take off and do some maneuvers I've shown him, and ride around practicing techniques. After a couple hours of him riding around practicing everything in the parking lot, I smile. 'He's a natural, damn.' I mentally praise him. He speeds up and comes straight towards me with a smirk. Knowing I can chaos control or dodge last minute, I wait to see what he does. He hits the brakes and comes to a smooth stop pulling the clutch and break perfectly. The bike is inches away from me and I smirk. "Nice job, hedgehog." I walk around to the side, out of the way and gesture to the road. "I think you're ready."
