As the ikran dove down the cliff, Nick kept his eyes closed while screaming and cursing, Kiri sighed while aiming the Ikran. Finally leaning up the ikran splayed her wings out slowing the flight and calmly gliding through the sky. "My brothers tending to his wounds before he joins us". "Natayim?" Asked Nick, butchering the boys name. "It's Neteyam" she corrected. "Same thing I said?". Kiri turned herself around facing the wolf. Using her hands to help pronounce her words, "neh-tey-am". "Nehtayam" he annoyingly said. "Neh-tey-am Skxawng". "Did you just call me a dumbass?"
"Moron." Rolling her eyes at him. "Neteyam" using his hands as kiri had. "Yes, finally". Kiri turned back around to her ikran. They had spent some time on how to pronounce neteyam's name, and speak of the devil. Neteyams ikran has come flying through and halted next to Kiris ikran, his ikran hissed at the sight of the animal behind the Na'vi girl.

"Kiri, you ok?"
"Yes brother I'm fine" sighed Kiri.
"We're almost there, don't annoy my brother"
"He Seems already annoyed dont ya think?, so do y-" before he could finish both the ikrans dived down towards into the forest trees, ducking and gliding around the trees and green foliage. They landed on the ground and Neteyam watched as Kiri hopped off her ikran and held out her hand to help the wolf, he held tight onto his bow, ready at any moment to shoot the animal. "You run I shoot" said Neteyam as he glared at Nick. "Yeah yeah I get it kid" Said Nick as he smiled at Kiri, hoping for a reaction. Kiri grabbed Nick's hand and lead him into the forest, Neteyam close behind. "I must show you something" she said. Walking to a spot in the forest, covered by green foliage and purple flowers, Vitraya Ramunong's (tree of souls /spirit tree or sacred tree) grew around, this wasn't the tree of souls location but these trees grew close to the mountains as they did in other far away places. "Don't touch anything, this is a very special place for Omatikaya only". The wolf looked around at the trees and the forest, his ears twitched but he was focusing dearly on the trees, they were all Diane could talk about most days, he knew the importance of these trees well. Still looking around he huffed out of his nose. "Why bring me here then" his tone was serious and calm, new to Kiri's ears. Kiri looked at him then back at the trees, she walked over and attached her queue to the vines hanging down. Seeds of the tree floated down, circling Kiri the seeds swayed around and lightly touched her skin as they circled her closely. Neteyam watched the display hunching down with his hands on his knees. Nick's tail wagged looking at the tiny white creatures dance around the girl, this is a rare and unnatural occurrence. One of the seeds left the circle around Kiri and graced its way to Nick, ears lowering down he held out his hand out slowly to the creature, the seed lightly touched and landed itself over his arm, it bobbed up and floated up to Nick's nose, he sneezed as the seed's limbs tickled his nose, the graceful creature flew back by the impact of his sneeze, but quickly floated back. Kiri and Neteyam watched the wolf interact with the spirit, Kiri lowering her ears and watching with a serious tone as if she knew already, glancing at Neteyam he was glaring and brooding at the wolf, but as he to Kiri he bit the inside of his cheek with concern in his eyes. "Believe me now brother? I'm not crazy" she said. Nick's ears twitched and he looked at kiri, "what do I do with it?" After he said that the seed flew away and joined the others in going back up the tree, Kiri took her queue away from the vines of the tree and walked back to the wolf. "I was proving your special to my brother, now we can take you back, they may not kill you now". Grabbing his arm they walked back to the ikrans. Neteyam got on his ikran and darted off back to home tree annoyed, Kiri took her time helping the wolf get on and yet again needed to move his arms around her waist so he would hold on, he hesitated touching the kid, part of his ego felt hurt needing to hold onto a little girl so he could ride an ikran, not that he wanted to be on one in the first place.

While flying back to the floating mountains there was a loud roar from up above. Nick's heart thudded and time felt like it had froze and quickly sped back up, looking up he saw large orange wings, far bigger then the ikrans he'd seen at the home base, in fact it was too big to be an ikran. The orange wings and cream coloured belly of the beast stretched across the sky, Kiri looked up but before she could think and direct her ikran, Nick pushed himself up and pushed his hand to the ikrans neck, digging his claws into the animals thick skin "Dive girl!" He shouted, resting his other hand on Kiri's back, she huffed and held on as they dived down just barely dodging the beasts claws, she was thinking the same a Nick but there reaction times were seemingly far different. Neteyam watched back on his ikran, if he tried to intervene he'd only danger himself, all he could do was go back home and tell his father, even then could it be too late?

Pushing himself forward holding onto the ikran, Nick shouted directions leading into the forest trying to dodge the orange beast, Kiri didn't need to think about it, she just had to listen and tell her ikran to move with his directions. Launching through the forest dodging every tree and vine that splayed through the forest, the toruk lashed out its talons trying to grab the ikran, along with its riders. Suddenly the ikran quickly turned and flew around the gap in a large tree, getting caught in the vines Kiri fell off the ikran and fell to the ground, pandora's gravity softened her fall greatly, Nick struggled holding onto the ikran with both his hands but seeing Kiri fall to the ground he quickly let go of the ikran and dived down after her, toruk was clawing at the tree trying to get at the ikran, not bothered diving after the riders. Nick hit the ground feet first and hunched down at the impact but quickly stood back up, ears lowered and tail up he was cautiously looking around for Kiri, hearing a groan Nick lowered himself down walking towards the noise, incase it was a threat. Using his arm Nick moved a branch aside, revealing kiri brushing the dirt off her legs, "you ok kid?" He asked. "I'm just great" she huffed. Standing up Kiri looked around, "know where we are?" Nick asked, glancing around the forest. Kiri's tail dropped and her ears went down, she looked scared as she continued looking around at the site they were at. "What?" Asked Nick. Can you swim?" Asked Kiri. "Of course I can swim why?". "Can you climb?" She asked, looking the wolf in the eyes, all seriousness on her face. "Up a tree? I don't know". "Why kiri?" His tone louder and more serious. Another rustle from the bushes followed, it was louder and there was sounds of sticks breaking from behind. There ears twitched, ears low, Kiri's tail raised and swished, Nick's tail stuck out straight as his lips curled, something big was watching in the bushes.
