Zdog and Ja sat beside Nick watching him inhale his food. "So what the hell was going on?" Asked Zdog, her arms crossed on the table leaning over facing him, swishing her tail. Nick put down his fork, food falling out of his mouth along with drool, he was starving. "I shouldn't tell you" he said looking down at his plate. "Cmon you don't trust us fur boy?" Said Zdog. "I met Jake..I met his kids.. I hung out with them in fact. " there faces dropped. "Look you guys know I'm not completely with the RDA, being in that forest it's.. I understand why sully did what he did, not that I'd expect you guys to understand". Ja leaned in, "you met Jake sully?" Putting his arm bent over the table, his eyes narrowed down under the cap he's always wearing. "Well our first encounter I tried killing him, then he knocked me out and..." pausing, he knew if he said they took him to home base they'd make him tell the RDA where it is. "Waking up I met his kids, his daughter kinda saved me, she said something like me being special I think, it's mostly a blur"

"Shit fur boy.." muttered Zdog. "The forest?" She asked. "Theres something about it Zee I'm telling you". Said Nick. "It's just trees and foliage" she stated. "Quaritch said we head out tomorrow" sitting back he wiped his mouth glancing at Ja and Zdog. "Let me show you guys" crossing his arms in the air. "We've been in the forest before Nick it's nothing all that special" Said Ja. "I'll be showing you to it, not the Colonel".
"Would he even let you?" Asked Ja.
Nick smirked leaning further back in his chair. "We'll just ask to take a little detour, no worries".

Zdog tilted her head, "if you get us in shit fur boy, I'm gunna-".

"Relax Zee I'll handle everything, I always do don't I?"

"What about that time in the laundry roo-"
"We don't talk about the laundry room Ja!." Interrupted Nick.

Into the cafeteria walked in spider, Quaritch behind him with Lyle accompanying him, scanning the  room Quaritch put his hand on spider pointing to Nick's table. Spider glanced behind him then walked to the table sitting himself quietly down. Ja and Zdog sat themselves properly and silenced themselves, Nick's ears slanted down looking at the boy, a low growl grew into his throat. Lyle walked over with Quaritch, sitting himself directly on the table next to spider, eyes following the Colonel. Nick watched Quaritch walk around the end of the table, grabbing a chair he turned it around sitting on the chair with his arms crossed over the chairs back, if it wasn't for spider sitting directly across Nick he'd be wagging his tail and flicking his ears, but despite his mood he felt his cheeks blushing.

Quaritch glanced at Nick then back to Zdog. "Where's everyone else?" He asked.
"Half the crews resting Colonel, Fike and Prager are training in the gym room"

Nick crossed his arms, glaring at Quaritch, "he better not of got paint on my bed".
"You'll sleep in a different bed" he snapped.
"Away from you?" Nick's tone was full of attitude, Quaritch's ears and tail flicked. "No I told you, your to stay in my sight at all times."

"Whatever.." Nick scoffed before turning and heading to the room. "Watch him" Quaritch pointed to spider while looking at Lyle. He got up in a huff following Nick around the corner.
"You don't gotta be up my ass 24/7 I'm going to slee-" cutting him off Quaritch slammed Nick against the wall tightening his hand on the wolf's throat, he groaned from the sudden movement.

"You wanted to be so close a few hours ago" one of the Colonels ears flicked down as he tilted his head, he narrowed his eyes and his face looked like his normal angry, but there was an expression of curiosity in them.

Nick choked on his words scrunching his face from somewhat embarrassment, turning his head away from the Colonel's gaze.

"No snarky comments?" Quaritch let go of his throat, putting his hand on the wall up next to Nick's head, leaning closer.

Nick's ears flickered down, leaning his head to the side he saw Quaritch's tail swishing against his thigh, reaching out his arm he grabbed the tuff of his tail, quickly scooting his hand down to the actual stem. Bending the tail in his hand before Quaritch could react he closed his eyes and groaned at the strange pain his mind hadn't ever recognised before. Nick grabbed the Colonel's waist turning him and pushing him into the wall instead. Quaritch opened his eyes looking to the wolf trying not to seem surprised.

Leaning himself closer Nick was pacing his breath. Heart racing. "I think you tend to forget Colonel." He huffed. "I'm stronger then you" leaning himself just a bit closer. "I'm faster then you. Despite that I don't like over displaying dominance quite like you do" his voice was almost muffled by his low slow breathing, trying to keep himself together.

"You called me Colonel" he smirked.

Nick swallowed down the pool of drool forming in his mouth, looking down he let go of Quaritch's waist. The colonel's waist breathed out once he let go, like he was holding his breath in. Nick stepped back looking away.
"I've got duties to do so you can't sleep in my room" Said Quaritch as he stood himself up, grabbing Nick's waist he pulled him over to the point of almost touching. Nick's breathing paced as he slightly scrunched his eyes and lowered his ears still looking to the side, tail wagging.

"You'll need to stay with me" looking down to the wolf. "Understand?".
Nick realised he was releasing his pheromones since he saw Quaritch after getting back to bridgehead, only intensifying seeing him sit on the chair, imagination gone wild, but he tried controlling himself and his thoughts. Perhaps he would of put his thoughts onto something else if he knew the Colonel was so shit at controlling his own body. As Quaritch held onto him he could feel his gaze looking down at him, it drove both of them crazy being so close, Nick's pheromones only intensified, much so he could see Quaritch's nose twitch and his body slightly shudder, the warmth his hands had, he could tell the Colonel was being driven mad by the chemicals.

Footsteps were heard walking up to the corner, quickly letting go Quaritch and Nick stepped back looking over, Lyle came around the corner with Spider next to him. "Corporal" he greeted. "Ardmore's waking more recoms and she wants us there"
