A little rebellious

It only took two hours of Corporal Wainfleet talking about himself for Nick to finally snap and insist they do something else.

"And that's when I said-". "Okay! How about we go for a walk outside Corporal?"
"Not a chance" Said Lyle. Ace sat next to Nick on the table with his head in his hand fallen asleep. Nudging him Nick groaned at Lyle. "Cmon dude surely you don't like sitting here just talking for hours". Crossing his arms Lyle sighed glancing around, thinking. "Just a walk?"

Nick and Ace walked in front pointing at different things and having there own inside jokes about them, sneakily glancing behind them they pointed at Lyle and turned snorting and chuckling. "Alright assholes what is it",
"Just admiring the lighting out here Corporal" Said Ace grabbing Nick's arm trying not to laugh. Lyle rolled his eyes continuing the walk. Nick turned his head to a large vacant vehicle parked next to them. "Shit check that out Ace, that thing could hurdle through Pandora"
Stopping there tracks the two looked over at the truck drooling. "She's a sexy one" Said Ace walking over to it. "We're on a walk not a car venue you two". "Cmon Corporal let's go for a drive" Hyped Nick. Tilting his head Ace looked concerned. "Your kidding right?, none of us could fit". Ace opened the door inspecting the front of the truck, it was only a two seater at the front with the rear being enclosed like a van, it was made for military to sit around in. Nick went to the back and opened the two doors revealing the full rear of the truck, handles strapped on the walls with small seats lined across, just big enough for two avatars to fit but definitely not stand.
"Shit we could fit in this" Said Nick leaning around to Ace.
"Nope nope and nope, get away from the truck" ordered Wainfleet. "Cmon Corporal don't be such a downer" groaned Nick.
Ace walked to Nick putting his arm over him. "Hey you can't blame him, dude has to be with the Colonel 24/7, of course he doesn't know how to gun fun, let alone what it is"
Smirking to Nick glancing at Wainfleet.
Lyle scoffed pushing the boys aside climbing into the front of the truck. "Get in and hold on, I'll show you bastards what fun is"

Grabbing each others shoulders Nick and Ace looked at other with excitement and pure joy rushing to the back of the truck climbing in.
Squeezing in the vehicle was huge even for a truck but it wasn't sized for an Avatar. Pushing the key in, the engine revved up and the truck vibrated. "Shit he's actually doing it" smiled Nick holding onto the handles on the side of the wall poking his head out. Ace stood hunched behind him holding on glancing around swishing his tail. Slowly the car drove towards the gate with Lyle squished at the front. "Uhh Corporal?" Said the guard. "Open the gate I'm taking these two for a little drive"
Ordered the Corporal. "Sir that truck isn't for avatar use-". "It'll be fine now open it"
Quickly the guard opened the gate and the truck continued out.

Staying on the stretch of dead land as the truck continue driving further out it came to a half. "You two holding on?!" Asked Lyle from the front. "Revv the cunt Wainfleet!" Yelled Nick hanging halfway out of the rear, Ace holding onto his shoulder only now rethinking.
Pushing his foot on the peddle the engine roared and the truck took off with a cloud of dirt blowing up at the back. Nick got pushed almost flying out of the door by the sudden speed of the truck not expecting it to be so fast. Holding onto his arm Ace pulled Nick back into the Truck laughing and cheering. "Wooo!" They both laughed from the back.
Glancing back at the rear Wainfleet couldn't help but crack a smile, turning the wheel he skidded the truck. Nick slammed into his side of the wall with a bang hitting his head, "holy shit!" He said as he stumbled trying to get back up to properly hold on. Ace slammed his back at the wall making it less painful then fell quickly getting up holding onto Nick.

Lyle kept his foot on the peddle changing the gears as he turned and spun the truck in circles, the boys at the back kept slamming into the truck eventually making dents along the walls. At one last turn Wainfleet kept the truck speeding straight gaining speed. Adjusting himself Lyle prepared for what he was about to do. Speeding up the truck Lyle took his foot off the peddle and slammed on the brakes, the truck instantly halted and the back wheels almost lifted off the ground. The rear doors slammed shut almost hitting Nick if the impact didn't already cause him and Ace to go flying at the back. As Lyle got taken out of his seat he flew out of the glass window tumbling forward on the ground. Slamming to the back of the truck they both heard the glass shatter at the front, slowly standing up groaning Nick and Ace peered through the front looking at Lyle sprawled on the ground.
