Getting to the lab, the door was big enough that Nick didn't need to duck to get in, limping inside the lab he saw large medical beds and equipment filling the laboratory, equipment fit for avatars and a lycan no less. Nick sat himself on one of the beds, his fur stopped the blood from flowing down. Max grabbed his medical tools and laid them behind Nick on the bed. Adjusting the bed lowering it down, Max started assessing the blood soaked wound, "you got slashed, and there's pieces of stitching in the wound" moving his hand from the wound Nick groaned from the pain. "Mgh.. yeah I got shot there". Looking up at the wolf, "by one of ours?". "Nah Some RDA cunt back in space". Looking next to the slash there was other similar stitching across his body. "Multiple times?" Asked Max. "Yeah." Replied Nick. Getting to the open wound, Max figured whatever had happened, the slash destroyed the stitching and re opened a wound while making it bigger, causing the extra blood. As Max started working on the stitching, "so you were held captive by RDA?" Asked Max, Breaking the silence. "Didn't like the bastards but no I wasn't", looking up at the wolf, Max's face always looked soft and afraid but around the 9.3ft wolf he couldn't help but shake, in doing so he kept accidently poking Nick's wound with the needle, Nick held in the pain knowing the small human was afraid. "For someone around aliens so much your pretty scared around an animal from earth" Said Nick as he smirked, looking down at the human to his side. Max kept his silence focusing on the stitching. I'm

In the middle of stitching, a human walked into the lab, "hey Max". "Hey norm, can you give me a hand with this?". As norm walked over to the bed he looked up at the wolf, "thanator did all that?" Said Norm, Max looked up, "a Thanator?". "Yes and yes, can you stitch me up and fix the leg?" He sighed. Norm brought over a chair, "put your leg on that if you can". Taking a breath Nick put up his leg on the chair, ears twitching from the pain. "The legs broken and fractured, just needs to get wrapped , it'll heal on its own won't it?" Said Max. "Yeah it should" Said Nick.

By the time Norm and Max finished there stitching and bandaging on the wolf, the clan was preparing for dinner. "The clan will be for preparing dinner about now, I'm gunna go link back Max". Norm walked out the lab and headed to some enclosed rooms in the home base. "Rest the leg and no physical activities everything should heal, but I'd like to run some blood tests on you". "Why the blood tests?" Asked Nick. "Never met a Lycan". "Alright, make it quick"

Kiri tended to her brother Lo'ak, he was upset about something. "What's the matter now brother?" She asked. "I'm grounded, can't even go flying for a month, this sucks". Kiri put her hands on Lo'aks shoulders, "that's why you should just do what your told for once Skxawng" Chuckled Kiri. "Knock it off man" huffed Lo'ak, shuffling her hands off of him. "We could go fishing at the creek". "We'd have to take that animal with us, no thanks Kiri". "Scared an alien will catch a bigger fish than you brother?".

Nick walked out of the lab and went over to the avatars only walk through, he saw avatars sleeping on hammocks and a few others standing while applying some kind of cream to there skin. "Walking up to one of the female scientists Nick looked down at her as shock and fear filled her face, "ya'll have any spare shirts around here?... Ma-am?" She stood frozen in shock. "Oook.." Muttered Nick. He walked out of the section and went looking for Jake, the limp was getting easier to handle. While walking around Nick felt something tug at his tail, turning around he saw a small Na'vi girl giggling as his tail brushed out of her hand. Nick crouched down to the girl and twitched his ears, the girl looked up at his ears and covered her mouth as she giggled. The Na'vi child was small but her smile was bright. Holding out his hand to the child, she gently held onto it and examined his paw like hand. "Woaahh..". The wolf smiled as he watched the child, "Tuk!"  A na'vi boy angrily walked over, picking up the girl he put her on his side. "Stay away from my sister alien", Nick stood up and tilted his head at the boy. "You don't like me do you kid?". Neteyam slightly hissed at the wolf. 'Whatever' thought Nick, 'it's not worth it'. Tuk looked sadly at her brother, clinging onto him though trusting his judgement. As Nick walked away clearly annoyed, Kiri strutted up to the wolf with her joyful smile, "me and Lo'ak wanna go to the creek for some fishing, you ever been fishing?" With a happy expression looking up at him. "I haven't actually, but I gotta go with you don't I?" He said plainly. "Indeed, I'll teach you how to properly fish so you can beat my brother, come" grabbing the wolf's paw Kiri tugged him along while calling out to Lo'ak. Suddenly Mo'at walked in front of the two walking, stopping them in there tracks. "Where would you be going grand daughter?" she asked. "Lo'ak and I are heading to the creek to fish, father instructed-" tugging at the wolf's arm, she did not know his name. "Uh Nick" he stated. "Father instructed that Nick comes with us, grandmother". Mo'at tilted her head slightly looking the man up and down. "When you come back" she looked directly at the wolf, "I will speak with you, personally" turning away she flicked around her tail, walking away to attend to her duties as tsahík. "Who's that?" Nick asked. "That is grandmother" Kiri continued tugging his arm towards the cliff of home base. "I get that, but she has that red thing around her body, she important?". "Grandmother is Tsahík". "And what's that your leader?". "Tsahík is not leader, she is our spiritual leader and the bridge to Ewya". "Ewya, that's your deity ain't it?". As kiri connected her queue to her ikran she climbed on and reached out her arm for Nick to grab. "Something like that, I shouldn't tell a sky person about it". Said Kiri. Nick leaned over and wrapped his arms around Kiri to hold on. "Thought I wasn't a sky person anymore-" the ikran dove down the cliff and headed for the ground, before they got too close to the ground the ikran steered up and headed towards the blue stream of water in the close distance. As the ikran's flying slowed and paced itself flying slow and steady, Kiri turned herself around,

"you are not Omaticaya, you are sky person". "What about your father?" Kiri tilted her head, "what of him?".
"He was a sky person, now he's your clans leader"
"He fought a great battle against the skye people for my clan, my father is Toruk Makto, you are an alien we don't fully trust or know"she turned back around flicking her tail and ears, an annoyed look on her face. Nick left himself speechless with his ears down. Landing the ikran Kiri detached her queue and hopped off, trailing up the creek. As Nick slid himself off the ikran she took off flying away, not long after Lo'ak's ikran landed and flew away as he too hopped off. Following behind Kiri Nick turned to Lo'ak, "where are the ikrans going?" He asked. "They go hunting for fish down river" replied Lo'ak. As they got up to the fishing point, Lo'ak grabbed out his bow and started eyeing the water for fish. Nick sat himself on the ground not wanting to stand on his broken leg. "How'd you break the leg?" Asked Lo'ak, Kiri glanced over curious. "Fought a thanator, crushed my leg when he rolled on me". "You fought with a thanator?" Lo'ak lowered his bow and drew his full attention to the wolf sitting down. "It wasn't an impressive fight kid". Kiri patted Nick on the shoulder, "anyone who can fight a thanator and live to tell the tale is an impressive story" she said, "I'm gunna find a stick to make a spear for the fish" Nick watched Kiri walk away and disappear into the forest. "What's your deal kid?" Asked Nick. Lo'ak lowered his ears, "what do you mean?". "Your brother hates me a fair bit, you don't seem to mind, and you keep to yourself almost as much as your sister, what's the deal?" He rested his hands on his hood leg and looked at the Na'vi boy with curiosity. "Neteyam hates sky people, we all do, you just haven't tried to us, your different for that". Nick thought back to when Quaritch was holding the children prisoner, then that moment on the log, he was running after those Na'vi kids and the human boy, if he actually caught up to them, he didn't know what he would of done, but he wasn't in right state of mind to think, he was in hunting mode in that moment. The memory made Nick glance away with shame, but he couldn't tell them that he possibly would of killed them that day, it was all to protect the recoms and please Quaritch, for whatever reason that was.. somewhere in the wolf's head he thought about the colonel, how he was doing and if he was looking after Ja and Zdog, after not spending a night alone without the colonel close by it almost felt cold and empty without him there, waking Nick up in the morning for training and routine, as much as he hated getting up early, he almost missed it.

"Your brother seems cool though, very protective of his family, that's good"
Lo'ak sat down next to the wolf, playing with some fallen leafs he looked down at the floor, "yeah he's the perfect son alright"
"Your a good kid arnt ya?" Asked Nick.
"Me? No, I'm just an outcast " Said Lo'ak in a quiet voice. "Nothing wrong with standing out kiddo, look at me eh?" He said Smirkingly.
Lo'ak smiled at the wolf trying to cheer him up. A roar echoed over the trees, gliding down an ikran landed next to the water, as it began to drink Nick noticed the animal having no fear of them being there as it drank, looking more closely Nick noticed the ikran was wearing military gear, the Na'vi didn't do this with there ikrans. Lo'ak looked at the ikran from the floor, Nick slowly crouched up and walked to the animal, putting his hand on the ikrans muzzle he sniffed the ikran, smelt like a cologne for men, the only person he could think of that wore cologne was prager, quaritch had his own but Nick had memorised the scent and this wasn't it. "Lo'ak.." muttered Nick. "Call your bird, and go warn your dad there's RDA here..". "Where's kiri?" Said Lo'ak. "I'll find her, go". Lo'ak called for his bird and sure enough he landed down and happily took his rider, flying off, Nick had one less person to worry about. Following to where Kiri walked off to, he followed her scent, another's scent appeared on the trail, smell of cologne, it stung the wolfs nose fiercely, the natural smell of the forest made the smell much harsher.

As he got closer and closer, he heard muttering through the bushes, "she alone?"  "Nah there never alone", "eyes out, there out there". He could hear Kiri's muffled praying, they were very close by. A quick thud hit his chest, his ears twitched at the slight sound of the bushes rustle, a loud bang shot out, a sharp pain stung in the wolf's shoulder, he couldn't catch a bullet.
