During the second night. Two more until Pandora.

Lyle was ordered to keep an eye on the wolf. In doing so he had to sleep in the same room. Lucky for Lyle all the bottom bunks were taken. Meaning they'd both be on top bunk incase Nick tried sneaking out and getting into trouble. Quaritch wasn't taking any chances with him.

When Wainfleet walked in the room that night with his things, all anyone had to say was, "Touch Zdog's soap and she'll kill you". That was from Fike and Nick.

Ja didn't particularly talk to Lyle unless he needed to. Zdog was happy in making conversation with him They were friends after all. They'd team up on making fun of Fike before bed, Even pranking Ja by taking his towel while he's in the shower.

Nick mostly stayed in the room Listening to music or playing on the iPad. Lyle did the same with nothing to do. Once during the night colonel came down to check things were in order, Everyone being asleep He didn't stay long.

During the third day, tomorrow being Pandora. Nick thought he would visit one of the science labs. Not to see Diane but read a book on pandoras wild life, Wainfleet not being far behind wherever Nick walked off to, it was getting sorely irritating at this point.

Nick read the books before on pandoras Wild life, even the foliage, the sea and tundra climate, Even the rocky ash biome. But the most known was the forest and sea.

While reading there was always a particular chapter that stood out.

The ViperWolf.
Much like a wolf itself it had the body and the snout, it hunted in packs and behaved much like wolves Or rather coyotes. If Nick was to shift in his primal form he'd still be much larger then any of them.

Always carefully reading the chapter with his nose in the pages Skimming each word.
Wainfleet would be in the room. Up his ass like always, Almost a second tail. He paced around the dark room lit by one flickering light hanging off the ceiling. Being a room full of old books the scientists found useless because everyone's already read them, and that there in space. looking at all the books and graphs hanging around. It made Lyles nose twitch. Never interested him, Nor did books. Looking over Nicks shoulder, glancing at the images of the animal in the book. "Those little bastards?" He said. Nick glanced over at Lyle with an annoyed face.

"If your gunna be my second tail at least shut up so I can read"

"I didn't know you liked to read" glancing at the pages yet again.

Nick signed. "I'd prefer to know what we're gunna be dealing with, Though this isn't the bitch you gotta look out for"

Skipping the pages all the way to a new chapter. One familiar to Lyle, The Thanator.
Setting the book flat on the table with the pages spread, Nick points at the image of the panther like cat. "The thanator, an apex predator that roams the forest on Pandora-"
Lyles ears flattened down. "Yeah I know what that is" he said in a low tone.

"Then shut it, or I'll give you a book to read"
Rolling his eyes, Lyle turned around and continued investigating the room.

Feeling wainfleets boredom and impatience with every circle he made around the room. Almost feeling bad for the marine. Nick shut the book and groaned. "Fine let's go then". The ears of the Corporal flicked up. Eagerly he walked out of the room with Nick leading the trail. Turning around the wolf looked at the Corporal, still walking. "Fuck your annoying y'know that?" Cocking his head.

Nodding his head then rolling his eyes, Lyle looked the other way.

Keeping a fast pace, Nick leads Lyle into the gym room. Glancing at his coms. Nick had an idea, He had no clue where the colonel was and Lyle sure as hell wasn't gunna let em go to him to complain so, a little light handling was necessary.
