Sitting under the log now, Nick and Quaritch sat silent waiting for the Toruk to leave, they could hear him walking around to the tree roaring. "This is what happens when you start destroying acres of land, you get hungry predators dip shit". Whispered Nick. "I wasn't even awake when RDA landed". "Yet your fine with destroying more crap just to get one person".

"A traitor like yourself? Except he's responsible for the deaths of hundreds, interfering with humanities new home , I do this so our species can survive". Nick's ears perked up, his eyes widened and his pupils shrunk looking to the colonel, curling his lip, Quaritch's tail flicked and his ears lowered. "I don't know if you've looked in the mirror but your not human, neither am I" looking at himself Nick forgot he was still wearing the hospital clothes, shuffling around he took it off. Quaritch ignored the wolf but turned his head to him, looking at the stitching and wounds that covered around his body, the cast on his leg had been taken off when he awoke in med bay, it would heal without it the doctor told Quaritch. "Did you rip the stitching?" He asked calmly. "Which ones?" He replied sarcastically. Quaritch leaned over looking over more closely at his wounds. "Don't act like you didn't try and shoot me an hour ago" Said Nick scowling at the colonel shuffling away. A loud roar echoed from the Toruk before hearing the beat of wings as he flew away. Nick peeked his head from the log turning his back to Quaritch, watching the Toruk fly away Quaritch grabbed his arms and put them behind his back again, this time grabbing the cuffs quickly and restraining the wolf with his face to the ground. "Your fucking kidding me right?" He huffed. "Don't act like you wouldn't kill me if you got the chance traitor". Quaritch leaned himself closer against Nick to pull him up from the ground, "at least buy me dinner first" Said Nick in a sarcastic charming tone, wagging his tail. Quaritch's tail flicked in annoyance, tugging his arms pulling the wolf's back to his front standing up, "shut it" Said Quaritch leaning his head to Nick's ear, the wolf chuckled quietly to himself. Quaritch held tight to Nick while glancing around, figuring where to go to head back to bridgehead, in truth he had no idea, trying to think where they came from he turned pulling Nick with him and began walking. Nick sniffed the air and twitched his ears, they were heading further into the forest, away from bridgehead. It made no sense to tell the colonel, this is what the wolf wanted, however getting away from quaritch would be another big problem of its own. "Stop wagging your tail" ordered Quaritch, it kept slapping his hip as they walked. "I can't help it dumbass, stop holding me so god damn tight". "Why would that affect your tail?" Replied Quaritch. Nick scoffed at his words, it would be uncomfortable saying he liked the Colonel holding him like this but he knew that would make things painfully awkward, even more so he hated the colonel's guts... or so he told himself.

Walking for what felt like hours, the colonel was getting frustrated, but definitely he was lost, as he was from the beginning. "You figured it out yet kitty?" Asked Nick. Quaritch's tail flicked, "I told you to shut it". As they continued walking the wolf began giggling to himself. "What?" Asked Quaritch with a growl. "Your lost.. and your still acting like you know where your going" laughing through his nose trying to hold it in. "So where are we then?" He asked rolling his eyes. "No clue kitty" he smiled, joyfully wagging his tail. Seeing the wolf smile made Quaritch feel uncomfortable, something didn't feel right as ridiculous as that sounded to him. Pulling Nick forward Quaritch examined him, "what? What did you do?" Confusion and anger in his voice. Nick took a sniff and turned his head at the trail of blue and purple flowers growing along the trees , his eyes glaring with a happy smile. "Your happy about plants?" asked Quaritch. "Smell it. "replied Nick. "I'm not smelling it.". "Your really missing out kitty...". Wagging his tail. "Stop calling me that" Quaritch took a sniff in the air, he didn't smell anything unusual.

Looking at the plants then at the wolf, 'some kind of high?' He thought, He knew the wolf's sense of smell was far better than his, perhaps that's why it didn't affect him. Walking over bringing the wolf with him, Quaritch leaned down and sniffed one of the blue and purple flowers closely, coughing and gagging Quaritch stepped back letting go of Nick, the smell was repulsive. Wiping his nose coughing Quaritch realised he wasn't holding Nick, looking behind him he saw the wolf with his nose deep in the flower smelling it, tail up and wagging he was drooling from the mouth. "Jesus, get here" Huffed Quaritch as he grabbed the wolf trying to pull him back, the wolf was greatly interested in the flower with no intention of backing away from it. Roughly tugging away the wolf he faced Quaritch twitching his ears, blood dripping down his nose.  "Fuck.." muttered Quaritch. "Your so blue..."whispered Nick, wagging his tail he leaned himself up to lick the colonel on his chin, pushing the wolf away the Colonel backed up, "stop it" he snarled. As Quaritch looked him in the eyes he saw his pupils had taken over his eyes, leaving hardly any blue in them just black, now that he was more focused on the wolf, Quaritch leaned in and sniffed him, he shuddered stepping back holding his nose, "why do you smell like that?" he coughed. "Like what kitty?" Asked the wolf. "Fucking plants" he hissed. Pulling Nick back against him the Colonel walked further in the forest, the wolf's tail wagging into the Colonels hip as it had been for a while.

Didn't take too long of walking until Quaritch couldn't stand the smell of Nick being so close, holding his nose didn't make any difference, the smell crept into his nose and almost in his chest, the colonels body and nerves shuddered each time a whiff of the scent reached him. Pushing the wolf forward not letting go, Quaritch turned his head away trying to breathe fresh air, not working. "How are you emitting such a smell dammit" he muttered under his breath. Nick's tail wagged harder looking at the colonel, tongue hanging out of his mouth panting, the wolf tilted his head at the colonel, seemingly out of his mind.

Quaritch noticed the wolf staring at him with such joy, it felt very unnatural. Looking into his eyes Quaritch felt a throb down his stomach, a sudden intense feeling that almost choked him up, feeling drool fill in his mouth Quaritch put his hands on his lips to cover it. The colonels ears twitched at the wolf, he had some understanding of what his body wanted, shaking his head then turning away, "stay here" ordered Quaritch. Nick was out of his mind absorbed by the flowers toxin and Quaritch, no thought of escape went in his mind as he sat and waited for the colonel to return, wagging his tail and sniffing the air. Not much time passed when Quaritch came back holding sticks and wood pieces, dropping it to the ground he knelt down and attempted making a fire. "Mm that'll attract predators kitty" said Nick. Quaritch looked at him flicking his tail, "then what?" He scowled. Nick looked around at the hundreds of large trees that stood before them. "I'm not a Na'vi" Said Quaritch, continuing his fire making. "You'll be a dead blue monkey" smirked Nick, with his tongue hanging down his mouth. Quaritch continued, ignoring him. "The Na'vi always settle down in high places kitty". A loud howl filled the settling sky, darkness over the horizon. Viper wolves were nearby, there bowls and barks were clear through the distance, Quaritch's ears twitched as he looked in the direction of the noise. Putting the sticks down Quaritch grabbed his knife and cut Nick's restraints. "You need both hands to climb, don't fucking make me chase you again". He huffed. "Of course kitty" smiled Nick.

Quaritch was no expert climbing trees, luckily he took his boots off long ago and cut half the length of his pants so he could get around the forest easier, still it didn't make the task easier. Nick had some sort of energy kick and extra adrenaline, wasn't long until he was already up the tree sitting on a large branch, The colonel took his time. "Not so great at climbing kitty?" Nick asked with charm. "Your getting on my nerves" replied Quaritch, the wolf quietly chuckled to himself. Quaritch grabbed onto the large branch with a huff, as he pulled himself up Nick sat and watched the Colonels muscles bulge, wearing just a tank top and his military vest his biceps and arms were very visible, and a sight to witness. Nick dug his hands and claws into the bark watching the Colonel. The toxins of the flower made Nick fazed and rather lustful, while it was repulsive to Quaritch and had no affect on him, it made Nick's body pulse and sweat, his pheromones were practically radiating, which was the scent the Colonel smelt, humans can't smell nearly as well as a Na'vi or lycan, so quaritch had never any experience with this, the cloud of smell washed down his nose and affected him so dearly with his body abiding by it, wanting it. The Colonel would never allow himself to give into such things, he was on a mission, deliver the wolf back to bridgehead, kill Jake sully.

As Colonel sat up on the branch he looked at the wolf staring at him, his eyes were slowly coming back to normal. "Wipe the blood off your nose" he muttered glancing away. From up the tree Quaritch could see the sun quickly going down, leaning himself back against the tree with his arms behind his head, the Colonel yawned. Nick glanced around the branch, it was large enough to sleep on, large enough for space, Nick didn't want space. Tiredness hit the wolf, further clouding his mind and letting the toxins sink in, more awake he could at least fight it off, but his eyes were rolling. Wiping the blood off his nose Nick started shifting his his bones, as his body clicked and morphed around Quaritch watched with curiosity tilting his head. Once Nick shifted to his primitive form he backed himself up laying over Quaritch's feet curling himself up to sleep. "Get off me" The Colonel hissed, at the slight movement of his feet about to kick the wolf off, he turned his head around snarling and growling. Rolling his eyes Quaritch flicked his ears and put his arms down on his lap, leaning his head he looked to the sky and the forest down the horizon, the wolf tucked his head to his body and drifted to sleep.
