OLIVIA PRIMROSE ABSOLUTELY HATED HANGOVERS. She was lucky enough to usually escape them, but for some reason today was not one of those days. Liv could only assume it was because of the traumatic night before.

After finding their way back to the Chateau, Liv and JJ were met with just Pope and Kie. Both of them went to their own homes after, promising to be back the next day, and told them that John B was safe and in his room. The pair bid their friends goodbye, and found their respective beds for the night, exchanging soft farewells.

Liv curled into a ball on the pullout couch, breathing deeply as she tried to relax. But sleep was refusing to take over her body, so she moved out of the bed and found herself in front of the spare bedroom door.

With a soft knock, the girl opened the door to the room JJ was in. "JJ?" She whispered, the door cracked open just a bit. He hummed in response, and she could automatically tell he had been close to sleep before she barged in. "I can't— um, I can't fall asleep. Can I sleep in here?" Liv bit her bottom lip, nervousness bubbling in her stomach.

JJ simply mumbled, "C'mere," and threw back the covers.

The redhead snuck into the room and closed the door quietly behind her, climbing her way into the bed. Pulling the covers over her, she laid facing JJ, with her hands huddled in front of her. Shaky breaths fell from her lips, her eyes scrunched shut as she curled into herself and a few tears escaped down her cheek. An arm found its way around her waist, and Liv opened her eyes the tiniest bit to see JJ shifting closer to her. She accepted his gesture, whispering, "Please hold me," the phrase broken and full of emotion. JJ obliged right away, pulling her into his chest and placing a chaste kiss on the top of her head.

As Liv cuddled into the warmth the blond provided, her breathing became normal again and her tears stopped falling. Their legs tangled together as JJ's hands rested against her lower back and her head. He played with the long strands of auburn hair, gently lulling the girl in his arms to sleep.

When they had woken up the next day, they were still in the same exact position. They hadn't moved an inch and everything was how it had been the night before. It felt strangely intimate, to be tangled up in bed with your best friend. The teens ignored the similar fluttering feeling in their stomachs as they woke up, and failed to mention their moments of weakness from the party. And worst of all?

Liv had a major headache.

The girl had woken up at the same time JJ did, but she didn't bother to move out of the bed. He did, however, and gently detached himself from Liv as he got up for the day. She refused to open her eyes, her limbs deflating as they no longer had something to hold onto. Before he left the room, the blond carefully brushed her hair behind her ear, letting his hand linger by her cheek for a moment. She let a small smile form as the door shut softly, and she turned to lay on her stomach with her face smushed into the pillow.

It was only a little bit later when the band of Pogues sat out back, called in for a meeting by John B. Liv found herself sitting next to Kiara, humming softly as the curly-haired girl mindlessly played the bongos.
