AFTER A RUN-IN WITH SARAH CAMERON AND HER BOYFRIEND, THE POGUES WERE ON THE ROAD AGAIN. It was the day after John B had listened to the message from his father, and he was doing better than he had been the night before.

The crew was now on their way to the Island Inn, the esteemed resort where JJ and Liv worked. The redhead had suggested going there after Pope said he needed the internet to work with the coordinates. So, they were driving to the pair's current place of work. JJ kept sending Liv small glances, appreciating the way her hair was tied up into a ponytail today.

The Twinkie settled into a parking spot as JJ spoke. "All right, keep a look out. We're behind enemy lines." He pulled out the gun, making sure it was loaded. John B scolded him, telling him to put it back. "You can never be too careful," The blond shrugged.

"Hey," Pope said as he leaned against the passanger side door. "I predict that bringing a weapon into a four-star hotel will likely cause more problems than they solve."

Kiara leaned up in-between the front seats. "I swear to God, I'm gonna throw that thing in the ocean, JJ. Put it back."

Liv sighed, hopping out of the back of the van. "Guys, leave him alone," The redhead said as she crossed her arms. JJ smiled and went to respond but she cut him off before he could say anything. "Put the gun away, please?"

His lips pressed into a line as he slowly put the gun back. Pope whispered a thank you to the girl and opened the door for JJ. "Can't forget my badge." The blond spoke.

Liv perked up, saying, "Can you—"

"Professional busboy," JJ smiled, then handed Liv her own badge. "And his trusty waitress." He smirked as she took the small item, feeling her fingertips brush his as she did.

They made a short walk through the parking lot and scanned into the building, heading towards the kitchen. JJ greeted some of the workers, and Liv gave them all smiles as they said hello to her as well. "Mama L, good to see you!" The boy snatched a piece of food from the dish in front of her, earning a smack on the wrist from the woman.

Her face lit up when she saw Liv though, and she stood to give her a hug and kiss on the cheek. "Oh, my darling, I've missed you!"

"I've missed you too, Mama L. Sorry about JJ." She winced, giving the woman an apologetic smile.

Mama L tsked, waving her off. "You kids are fine workers anyways. I hope I'll be seeing you soon?"

"Of course, we'll be back in a couple weeks."

Liv bid her goodbye quickly, catching up with the rest of her friends. She walked down the hall, waving to some of her coworkers. Then she saw JJ leaning against the door frame of small computer lab of the resort, the smallest smirk on his lips. "Making your rounds?"

She bit her lip, shaking her head. "Shut up."

JJ closed the door behind her, and they both went to stand behind Pope. The map was pulled up, and it was zooming in on the coordinates Pope had entered. The red pinpoint was sitting there in the middle of the ocean, a small 900 next to it. "Shit, it's on the high side. It's only 900 feet." John B shrugged.
