Connor's POV:

That night Riley leaves with Grace and Lucy for a day or so, which means a day or so of worrying. But I know its safer than before.

And that night, I find multiple pictures of Toby and Sam on my phone, one of them kissing. I'm surprised at first. I mean I've never seen them actually kiss before. Let alone Toby kiss anyone. So why wouldn't I be? I'm tempted to just show the world and post it on Instagram or something, I mean, not to be girly and teenager-ish, but the photos cute. And I like it. But I know that if I do, if it actually worked, there would be a "fan war."

And that night, after everyone goes to bed, except Andrew who stays up to listen to the radio and keep watch, Sam's parents come home.

Sam and Rhian look just like their father and have long hair like their mother. Andrew has his fathers stature and attitude. His intelligence shows beyond anything else in him but his kindness and gratefulness is right along side it.

The first time I see them is when Toby wakes me up and takes me downstairs to meet them. At first I'm confused, like all of the sudden they're just there out of nowhere when I wake up. But I realize they aren't a figment of my imagination when Sam runs up to her dad and throws her arms around his neck. Andrew does the same to his mother following Rhian.

"Mom! Where have you been?" I walk in on this after walking down the stairs behind Toby.

"Its okay honey, were fine. We'll explain everything later, I promise. But first how bout telling me who these handsome young men are." She says looking up to Toby and I.

"Mom this is Before You Exit. The band I kind of went on tour with. That's Connor, and Toby." She explains pointing to me. We shake her parents hands. "And Riley's also in the band but he went with grace and Lucy back to her house for the night so she can check up on things."

"Grace was here?"

"Yeah, Its a long story." Sam looks a way from her mother as if she's trying to hide her face that clearly tells of the events we went through.

"Well I think we can carry on with this tomorrow don't you think?" We all nod and I yawn, wanting to get back to bed. At the same time I really wanna know what happened to her parents and why we couldnt reach them.

"Me and your father have a few things to do but you all should get some rest." She kisses Sam on the forehead before turning to work out what she needs.

"Well, I'll stay up awhile longer. They'll probably need help." Andrew says returning to his desk with the radio.

"I'm gonna hit the sack." I say yawning once more. I turn around but before I leave the room I forgot to tell Toby that we need to call home tomorrow to check up. When I turn back, Toby has his arms around Sam, his head laid on hers, and they sway side to side gently.

I realize how perfect they actually are. For each other. I just hope that this perfectness won't be broken when we go home... And without Sam....

Sam's POV:

I wake up early the next morning and stand up, leaving Toby's warm body alone. No matter what happens the night before, my mother is always up early. No matter what.

I head down stairs, and there she is at the kitchen table eating toast and jelly and reading an outdated magazine.

"Hi mom."

She looks up and smiles. "Morning hun. What you doing up so early?"

"I don't know. Couldn't sleep. And I just wanted to talk to you like before." I take a seat across from her at the table and pull my knees up to my chest.
