Sam's POV:

Toby and I take the long way back to his house. We have all of the windows down and we are blasting the radio and singing along. I'm having the time of my life and I don't want it to end. Especially since I'm spending it with Toby.

To soon we arrive back and we have to roll the windows back up and turn the radio off, leaving us in silence. "That was fun. Were gonna have to do that again." I say and smile at him. He smiles back and takes his sunglasses off, revealing his dark brown eyes which aren't that dark when you get to know them.

"I enjoyed this too. Just me and you. Not me, you and a couple of dorks who are waiting for their coffee." He grabs the coffee from the back seat and gets out of the car. After a few seconds of my "calming down period", I follow Toby into the house.

"Guys were back!" Toby yells.

A few seconds later, we hear a "YES!!" and then two people running up from what I'm guessing is the basement. "I have to live with this..." Toby says shaking his head.

Seconds later, Connor and Riley run into the kitchen, grab their cups from Toby, come on either side of me and kiss my cheeks at the same time. "Your the best Sam we love you!!!!" Connor says and then they both leave and head back to the basement.

"What! I paid!!" Toby yells to them in disbelief.

"Oh you wanted a kiss too?" I ask giving him a puppy look. "Maybe you'll get one later if your a good boy." I poke him in the chest smiling and follow Connor and Riley to the basement, wherever it is.

Toby's POV:

"Maybe you'll get one later if your a good boy." Sam says poking me in the chest and following my brothers. What's that supposed to mean??

"I'll be good I promise!!!" I yell running after her. Obviously she can't mean what I'm thinking, so I just shake it off.

"I hope so" she says and winks at me. She turns before she sees me blush and heads downstairs. Am I dreaming this or what.... She has to be joking anyway...

I follow her and say,"You don't know what I'm gonna do. So watch it." Warning her playfully.

"What are you gonna do?" Connor asks. He's sitting on the couch with his feet up, guitar across his lap, and he's holding his Starbucks in the hand without the guitar pick.

"Oh Toby's jealous he didn't get a kiss. I promised him one later but I don't know if he's worthy of one. God knows what he does," Sam says taking a seat beside Riley on the other couch. Connor who is strumming his guitar at the moment stops and looks at me.

"Oh is that so...." Riley says and gives me an approving look while she isn't looking.

"Anyway," I say trying to change the subject. I know she's joking but I doubt Riley and Connor realize it with their lack of common sense. "What are you guys doing down here?"

"Were just getting a little practice in before the soundcheck tomorrow." Connor says. He continues playing his guitar softly and Riley soon joins in. I take that as an open invite, so I grab my guitar from its case and begin to play along with them. We don't play anything special, we just play whatever comes to mind and we all play along with each other.

When we wind down a bit to take a break, Sam says, "This sucks... My guitars on my bus... So far away." She pretends to look hurt and Riley puts his guitar down sliding closer and putting an arm around her. "Thats okay," he says. "You can sing along with me."

Since we all know Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatt's, me and Connor start to strum the notes.

Riley starts to sing and when he reaches the chorus, he motions for Sam to join in. When she does, it's beautiful. There's something about her voice that fits her perfectly and when it mixes with Riley's in harmony, it's even better. I just watch her sing not even paying attention to where my fingers are. I've played this song so many times I don't need to anymore.

When they reach the end of the chorus too fast, Connor and I slowly fade out and were left with silence. Everyone's looking at Sam, who is still wrapped around Riley's arm. I wish I was him right now so I could say to her how amazing she is without anyone hearing. But Connor beats me to it.

"That was.... Amazing." Connor says. And he means it. "Your voice with his... Its like perfect. I can't even imagine what's going to happen on stage."

Sam blushes a little and says,"Thanks. But it probably won't be any better then what you just heard. I get really nervous on stage. You have no idea."

"Its okay. You'll be fine. After about five minutes of the first show, you'll be having the time of your life." Riley says rubbing her shoulder and smiling. "And what are we doing by the way? This is what sound check is for! We should be out doing something while we can!" Riley says cheering up the mood.

"Yeah! We should be running around screaming like the teenagers we are!" Connor gets up and puts his guitar away. "I don't know about you guys but I'm up for some skateboarding." He says and runs upstairs. "I'm with him." Riley agrees and follows him.

I still haven't moved from my position. I still have my fingers on the last note I played and my pick is in the same spot I left it when Sam stopped singing. I just sit on my couch and look at Sam for awhile more. When she looks at me once everyone's gone, I tell her, "You know your amazing right? Your voice is beautiful." She smiles and looks down, avoiding eye contact with me, meaning I did my job right.

"Come on, let's go" I get up and place my guitar in its case. I wait for her to get up and I follow her upstairs.

After we grab our skateboards, we ride along the side of the street towards the sunset. Connor is in the lead, followed by Riley, Sam, and finally me. When we reach the part of the road where we go downhill, Sam stands up straight and enjoys the ride. Her hair is blowing calmly in the wind and she has the smile on her face that I've grown to love since I first chatted with her over video. If there's one thing that could describe her, it would be beautiful.

We head back when it starts to get dark. When we get back inside we all decide to relax for the rest of the night and watch movies.

After we eat dinner, we take the same spots as the time we watched The Hobbit when Sam first got here. It seems so long ago...

Riley and Connor are spread out across the large couch leaving me and Sam on the other smaller couch. I put in The House At the End of the Street and sit beside Sam. "I hate scary movies," she says giving me a freaked out look. "Then come here goldfish." I put my leg rest up and let Sam slide over right next to me so were sharing it. When the scary parts come, Connor, Riley and I laugh and occasionally jump while I think Sam mentally dies. She curls up into me and I put my arm around her.

By the time the second movie is over, Sam and I are fast asleep.
