Cleo:

You woke to the morning smell of pancakes. As usual as that was for you, your stomach never seemed to get over its excitement for the delicious food that Cleo made.

You stretched and stood, then, you got dressed into pajamas, finally putting on clothes after a night of sleeping bare. You looked over at the small calendar that hung on the walls. The calendar was the only way you could tell your days apart, and you treasured it dearly.

Your heart swelled when you saw the date. It was February 14th, meaning that it was valentines day. You smiled in excitement and grabbed the hand written letter you had made for Cleo.

Slowly, you walked to the kitchen where the smell of food lingered.

"Good morning." You smiled lightly.

"Good morning, my love." Cleo sent you a sweet grin and turned back to her pan. You walked over to her and gave her a quick kiss. Despite being kidnapped, er, in a relationship with her for years, you still were shy when it came to physical affection.

She turned cherry red and smiled widely. It was rare that you'd display that sort of love, and she cherished every moment of it.

She quickly flipped the pancake she was cooking and brought you a plate of already made breakfast. Eggs, a heart shaped pancake, and bacon were scattered on the plate in a beautiful display. You smiled and thanked her before digging in.

Cleo sat across from you, a cup of coffee in her hand and her robe tied tightly around her waist.

"How's breakfast, sweetheart?" She asked.

"Really good." You replied, and you took another bite.

She leaned forward to give you a kiss. You returned it, only allowing her to deepen it.

"How did you sleep?" She mumbled against your lips. "Did our workout help you rest?"

"Yeah." You breathed.

"Then let's work out again." She said, and she led you to the bedroom.

The guards that circled the house quickly turned off the stove that was long forgotten about. They huffed and whined about the lewd moans that came from the bedroom, but they did nothing besides stand guard and follow their given directions.

You cleaned the small apartment you stood in and smiled contently. Ever since you escaped Cleo, you had only upgraded. You turned to check the clock. Jax should have been getting off work soon, and you wanted the apartment to look perfect.

The door slowly opened, revealing your adoptive dad. You smiled at him and welcomed him in. He smiled back and revealed a large heart shaped balloon he had hidden behind his back.

"Happy valentines, kid." He smiled.

"Thank you so much!" You said, and you took it from him happily.

He pulled a teddy bear out from behind him, and he gifted that to you as well.

"I know ya don' really have a valentine, so I wanted to give you somethin' special."

You blushed from embarrassment. "Thank you so, so much!"

He smiled back and ruffled your hair. "Come on, let's go get some dinner."

You smiled and followed him out of the apartment. Together, you made your way to his car and climbed in.

"Where are we going?" You asked.

"Marge's Diner." He said. "Do ya remember our first dinner together?"

"Yeah!" You chirped. "It was so awkward."

"It really was, wasn't it?"

Together, you laughed. You felt lighthearted, having such an amazing father figure really put you in a good mood.

You felt your phone buzz from your pocket, and you pulled it out. An unknown number was calling you, and you answered it almost immediately.

"Hello?" You asked into the device.

"Hey, baby." Cleo's smooth voice came from the other end.

You froze. "How did you get out of jail?"

"I'm not. I'm allowed phone calls, you know."

"Leave me alone."

"Relax, love. I just wanted to tell you happy valentines day."

"Fuck you."

"Oh, how I enjoyed the love we made. You know, you should come visit me some time."

"Why would I?"

"Fine, you don't have to. But when I get out, you're the first person I'm coming to see."

The phone call ended shortly after, and you let out a sigh you didn't realize you were holding.

"Who was that?" Jax asked.

"Just...a friend." You said, and you left the conversation at that.
