Napabuntonghininga ako at piniling mag-log in na lang sa dump account na gamit ko. I saw one message so, I opened it.

Karion: Good morning, madam! Whatever you plan to do today, goodluck po!

I smile at the message. It's heartwarming to see this kind of message and I couldn't help but appreciate Kaloy.

Vanessa: Good morning din! Goodluck sa trabaho. Take care!

I was slightly shocked when he immediately replied. Akala ko pumasok na ito sa trabaho niya?

Karion: Ay, may pa-take care si madam! I'll surely take care of myself. Handa na biceps ko para labanan ang mga babangga 💪

I reacted a laughing emoji to his message. Hindi ko namalayang natatawa na rin ako habang nagtitipa ng reply para sa kaniya.

Vanessa: Don't you have work?

Karion: Meron po.

I don't know why but, I find it adorable when he's using 'po' whenever he talks to me.

Vanessa: Bakit nagpo-phone ka? 😠

I chuckled when he reacted a shocked emoji to my message. Ilang sandali pa ay nagtitipa na siya ng reply niya.

Karion: Hala, galit na ang madam ko! Ito na po, magtatrabaho na po. Work work work work work */starts twerking

Napasapo na ako ng noo dahil sa kalokohan ng lalaking ito. Napahagalpak na ako ng tawa. Malakas na tawa. Okay lang, wala namang nakakakita dahil nasa loob naman ako ng bahay.

I looked at my phone when he sent another message.

Karion: Sige na, madame. Magtatrabaho na ako para hindi ka na magalit. 🥹

Vanessa: Okay, work well!

Karion: Sure! 😉

I just reacted a heart emoji to his message. Hindi ko na pinahaba ang usapan para makapagtrabaho na siya. Baka mapagalitan pa kaya hindi na ako nag-reply.

After chatting with Kaloy, I turned off my mobile data and planned to go stand up to charge my phone when it rang.

I saw my former manager slash friend, Rea calling so, I immediately answered it.

"Hello?"

"Vanessa! Sorry, naistorbo ba kita?" I smiled as I heared her sweet voice.

"Hindi naman, halos wala nga akong ginagawa eh," sagot ko at nahiga sa sofa saka ko niyakap ang maliit na unan na naroon.

"Mabuti naman. Napatawag lang ako para kamustahin ka. Marami akong nababasa sa social media na posts. Nami-miss ka na ng mga tao," aniya.

My heart softened at what she said. I appreciate those people who's waiting for me and keeps on tagging me on their posts about missing me. I feel like I don't deserve those people who truly loves me. That's why, I am doing all my best to give them what they deserve.

"I miss them too, Rea," sabi ko. "Shall I go back now?"

I heard Rea took a deep breath. "Ikaw ang bahala, Vanessa pero, ano ba sa tingin mo? Gusto mo na bang bumalik?"

I suddenly thought of the people here in Sto. Tomas. Maikling panahon pa lang ang ginugol ko sa lugar na ito pero, gustong-gusto ko na dito. Isa pa, hindi pa ako masyadong nakakalibot sa lugar kaya sa totoo lang ay ayaw ko pang umalis.
