Johnny stood anxiously at Miguel's door as he waited for his mother, Carmen, to open it. He had the boy in his arms, only putting him down to carefully put in him the back seats of his car. The drive from the school to the apartment were a rushed job.
Phoebe stood behind him pacing nervously, anxious of what her parents would think. Her nose had stopped bleeding, but the remaining blood on her skin had dried. She clutched her torso, which was throbbing in pain. Her eye wasn't much better as a large purple bruise began to form. Tears had stained her cheeks from when the punch happened. On top of all that, the fact that she wasn't dressed in the same costume that she left the apartment in and her lies about her whereabouts after school were going to unravel. She was royally fucked.
When Carmen opened the door she screamed, "Miguelito!"
Johnny glanced back to Phoebe, who waited outside. He brought the woman's son into their home and set him gently on the couch.
After hearing about what happened, Carmen said, "I don't want you ever coming near my son again, do you understand me?"
"I'm sorry. I should never have gotten involved." The Sensei said, his face filled with regret.
"No! Cobra Kai never dies." Miguel shouted before the door slammed closed.
Johnny sighed as he stood with his other student outside. That was horrible. Hearing the blame and hurt in Carmen's voice. The worst was only yet to come though.
Phoebe looked to Johnny, "I don't know who my parents will kill first. You or me."
"I'm sorry, kid."
"It's not your fault. You don't have to do this. I'll go in by myself, you can go home."
"Nah. You're my student, my responsibility." He walked over to apartment 108 and knocked on the Halloween decorated door. He glanced back to Phoebe, who stood slightly behind him.
George opened the door. "Johnny?" His eyes landed on his daughter who looked beaten and bloodied. "Phoebe?! What the hell happened?"
"There was an incident at school. Four guys attacked her. This is the result. It could have been a lot worse. I've been teaching her and Miguel karate. She used it to fight these guys off as much as she could."
George locked his jaw and looked to his daughter, "Karate?"
"Yeah."
"When do you have time for that?! Haven't you been doing gymnastics?"
"I...um...haven't been training as much as you think."
"Get in here now, young lady!" The teenager slipped by Johnny and through the doorway of their home. "I'm disappointed in you getting into fights, lying to us, keeping secrets. This isn't you, Phoebe."
"I was protecting Miguel."
"Your mum is in the bedroom. Go get yourself cleaned up and go to your room!"
"But-"
"Now!"
Phoebe contained her anger and stormed away, leaving Johnny with her father.

George watched his daughter go into the back bedroom. He stepped out of the apartment and closed the door behind him. "You've been teaching them karate?"
"Yeah..."
"You know only one style of karate, Johnny. Cobra Kai! I can't believe you'd dare to fill and brainwash my daughter's and Miguel's heads with that bullshit."
