Daniel arrived early at his dojo to get a jump start on the day. He ended a phone call with his wife and he heard the sound of punching coming from the backyard. Someone was punching the bag back there and he went to investigate. Making his way through the house, he thought of the only person who would be there early enough. "Robby? I guess the early bird catches the worm..." He stopped when he noticed that it wasn't Robby. It was someone else entirely.

"It's a cute little place you got here. You teach karate, or gardening?" Kreese smirked. Flicking a lighter in his hand, he lit a large, fat Cuban cigar and put it in his mouth.

Shaking off the initial shock of seeing one of his old enemies, Daniel straightened up, "So, this is what it comes to? Breaking and entering?"

"I'm just here to say thank you."

"Thank me for what?"

"Well, taking our weakest soldiers from our ranks. That was kind."

"Soldiers? They're kids."

"We were all kids, once. You may think you got the best of Johnny Lawrence. But I promise you, this time, I won't let him lose."

"Lose what? This isn't war.

"Sure it is. War never ends. Peace is just the lull between battles. Did you really think you can attack Cobra Kai and there wouldn't be any consequences? You better hope that your students are ready. Because I promise you, ours will be." Kreese put out his cigar by pressing it into the soil of a lovely looking potted plant. It sizzled as he did it. "Regards to Mr. Miyagi."

Sitting in the LaRusso house, more specifically in Sam's bedroom on her bed, Phoebe slurped on a green smoothie with a straw that Moon made, along with Sam herself. Both guests sat on the bed, while the owner stood across from it leaning against her desk.

Moon had pop music playing from her phone at a reasonable volume. Loud enough to hear, but quiet enough to have conversations. She glanced to her two girl friends. "So, what do you think?"

Sam smiled, "It's good."

"It's very green and tastes very healthy...It's really good, Moon."

The maker listed the ingredients, "It has fresh acai, organic kale, and free trade hemp oil."

"Hemp oil?" Phoebe glanced to Sam in slight alarm, who had the same look in her face. They both looked to their hippie friend. "I mean, this isn't gonna get us high, is it?"

Moon laughed at them, "I don't think so. It's supposed to balance your kinetic energy."

Phoebe glanced over to the LaRusso girl. "I'm really glad you called."

"When you were at the dojo the other day, I saw you were still my friend."

"Because I didn't attack any of you?"

"Basically."

"What about Aisha?"

"Yeah, her too."

"I've always been your friend, Sam. I wouldn't attack you because of that...and because of Demetri. He belongs in Miyagi-Do. I wouldn't want to ruin that for him."

"Just because you're in rival dojos doesn't mean you can't be friends." Moon said. She looked to Sam. "Phoebe and Demetri make it work."

"That's because they're family. They don't have a choice in that."

"I appreciate what you did for him at the mall."

Sam nodded. "He needed it and he's one of us. Honestly, I missed hanging out with you. Both of you. How's your leg?"
