"This is weird." Miguel commented wading his feet through the thick grey gloopy substance.
Phoebe grimaced at touching the sticky round cylinder in front of her, "It feels disgusting and we're stuck in this builders hamster wheel."
The small group of Cobras glanced to their left as they saw their Sensei's head appear in the large hole they all came through, "Don't just stand there. You wanna get stuck? Move!"
"Come on." Hawk said to his fellow students.
They trudged through the wet cement to the furthest part of the cylinder to make it turn. Using all their combined strength, they almost dragged their hands down against the side of the mixer to make it then while their feet waded through the cement.
"Come on, guys. Let's go. We can do this." Phoebe encouraged as the only girl doing this insane task.
"Let's go, guys! Move it!" Johnny shouted from outside with Kreese and the other students. The mixer hadn't moved.
"You ever done this before?" Kreese asked the current Sensei.
"Don't worry. I got this." Johnny muttered back.
The cobras inside the truck grunted as they tried to make it spin with all their might. None of them wanted to get stuck.
"Come on." Miguel said to the others.
"Don't just stand there." Hawk snapped to one of the newbies.
"All right. There we go! There we go! A little bit faster." Johnny called, seeing the mixer turn quite slowly.
Finding their rhythm, the Cobras kept doing exactly what they were doing and it made the mixer turn faster and faster every few seconds, keeping the cement at their feet complete goop. They all groaning and grunted while doing it.
Johnny yelled proudly, "There you go! There you go! Keep pushing! All together!"
One of the newbies slipped and fell backwards into the cement. Phoebe saw this. Leaving her position, she carefully went over and helped him up. "Come on. Get up." She encouraged the rest of them immediately getting back to her spot. "Keep going. Keep pushing. Come on! Let's go!"
Hawk grinned, "We're doing it!"
"You got this, guys. Let's go!" Their Sensei shouted, noticing the mixer turning even faster.
"Faster! Faster! Faster!" Hawk called. The mixer turned even faster with their teamwork added with the rhythm.
"Come on! Come on! Yes!" Johnny clapped. To him it was a task well completed.
The other Cobras behind him all cheered and clapped, except for Kayla. Even Kreese smiled. Instead, she muttered underneath her breath, "I wish you would suffocate and die in there."
The other Cobra Kai students had all taken their turns in the cement truck. When the last wave of students got out of the truck absolutely covered in the grey sticky substance just like everyone else, their Sense made them line up in a long row.
Before it could harden on their hair, clothes and skin, Johnny stood facing them with one of the water hoses and sprayed them with it. He hosed them down one by one. He started with Phoebe.
"Oh, my God. It's cold." She commented as the pressured water touched her.
"Stop complaining. It's just water."
Phoebe scrunched up her T-shirt and wrung the water out, she also did the same with her hair. Johnny had gotten the worst of the cement from her. Patches of it still remained.
