The students followed instruction and all knelt on all four edges of the mat, while Johnny and Kreese walked around the mat. Several sparring fights had took place already. Now it was time for the next pair of Cobras to step onto the mat.

"Diaz and Hawk, you're up."

Both teenagers stood and stepped into the centre. Lining themselves opposite each other, Miguel and Hawk bowed.

"Fight!" Johnny yelled.

The fight began with Hawk throwing a punch at Miguel. The reigning champ quickly blocked it, then he grabbed Hawk's arm and then pushed it away. This made Hawk do a quick spin before facing his friend again. Miguel kicked out at his chest with a front kick, as well as a backhanded punch. Luckily for Hawk, he blocked both. Hawk kicked out at Miguel, unfortunately he missed leaving him open for an attack. Miguel took that chance to punch him hard in the stomach. If it were a tournament match, that would have earned him a point.

"That was for Demetri." The Hispanic boy hissed quietly.

"Nice work, Diaz." Johnny said. "Bow. Go again."

Hawk recovered from the hit and glared slightly at Miguel. Both boys bowed to start another fight.

Outside the dojo, a car door could be heard slamming closed. Then the door bell jangled. Now storming into the dojo was a very angry Daniel LaRusso.

All the Cobras stood up and some turned to face the visitor.

Johnny didn't like this interruption during his class, "The hell do you think you're doing?"

"Like you don't know." Daniel sneered.

"Take your shoes off the mat. You're disrespecting my dojo."

The other Sensei yelled, "You're seriously gonna talk to me about disrespecting dojos after what you just did to mine?!"

Hawk and Miguel quickly slipped back to the edges of the mat. Meanwhile, Kreese just silently watched the two old rivals argue.

Johnny walked further into the mat to stand in the centre of it to meet him "I don't know what the hell you're talking about. I didn't do anything to your dojo."

"Just like you didn't slug one of my employees, huh?" Daniel scoffed. "You know, part of me actually felt bad for you at one point, but you make it so easy to remember who the bad guy is in all of this. You call yourself a sensei? You don't even know what a sensei is. A sensei mentors. A sensei elevates. He doesn't teach destruction and disrespect!" He yelled.

A flash of guilt washed over Hawk as he was the one who stole the medal. But it went away as quickly as it came to not draw suspicion to him.

"I already said I don't know what you're talking about, LaRusso. And you don't know what you're talking about either."

"Yeah, well, I know you don't... You don't earn a Medal of Honour by stealing it." Daniel turned and faced the Cobra Kai students. "Let me tell you something about your sensei. He might teach you how to fight, but he doesn't know a thing about what it takes to truly win at life. If you want to help yourselves before it's too late, the doors of Miyagi-Do? Wide open."

"You come you can come in here and poach my students?"

"And what are you gonna do about it?" Daniel challenged. "You know I'm not gonna strike first."

The tension in the air had everyone wondered if there would be a Sensei showdown right in front of them on the mat.

Johnny stepped back, "I'm gonna be a bigger man."
