The three girls laughed as Phoebe could not find balance and had been rolling so slow while gripping to the edge of the rink for dear life. She had attempted to venture further out with her friends but she did fall, just not on her face. It was a pain trying to get up and find balance again. So Aisha and Moon skated with her.
"You're a gymnast, how do you not have balance?" Aisha asked.
"My feet don't have wheels, do they?!"
Moon saw her friend in the red leather jacket. "Miguel, come help us!"
Miguel soon skated over. "What's up?"
"Phoebe needs help. Get her away from the edge."
"No." The girl in question whined. "I don't have anything to support me out there. Is there a roller version of a kids ice skating penguin?"
"You've got me." Her best friend replied.
Phoebe considered it and nodded.
"Okay. Close you eyes and think of yourself on a mat- karate or gymnastics, doesn't matter. Just picture yourself simply walking across it."
"What?"
"Just do it."
Phoebe sighed and closed her eyes.
"Focus. Drown everything else out. You have perfect balance. Just you and the mat." Miguel glanced to Aisha and Moon and gave them a look to keep quiet. He took Phoebe's hand in his and slowly led her away from the edge. If Tory were to see them right now all she would see if them skating hand in hand, but she knew that he and Phoebe were just friends. "That's what you usually do, right?"
"Yeah."
"Keep focusing. Breathe in and out. Think of nothing else. Your opponent is the rink itself. Beat it." Miguel eyed his hand and slowly took it away from hers and slowed down his own skates to allow her to skate on by herself. He glanced back to Aisha and Moon with a smile on his face.
Not hearing Miguel beside her, Phoebe spoke, "Miguel, are you still there? Miguel?" She opened her eyes to not find him there and she realised that she was skating by herself. Keeping her feet moving and glancing around the rink she found him on the other side of the rink. Had she really gotten all that way without him? "I'm doing it."
Miguel just grinned along with Moon and Aisha.
Phoebe carefully skated back to them as she didn't want to lose her balance and fall over. She managed to and she said happily, "I did it!"
"You can do anything when you put your mind to it." Moon giggled.

Robby and Sam skated around the rink anti-clockwise holding hands. They glanced over to see the other two female Cobras and Moon skating on the other side of the rink and laughing.
He noticed an indifferent expression on her face, "Everything okay?"
"Yeah." Sam hesitated and then she admitted what she really wanted to say, "Okay, I'll admit, it's kinda weird running into your ex. Plus, that girl Tory is the worst."
"Remember what your dad says. 'There's good in everyone.'" Robby reminded her. "She just has to be shown the right way. But if you want to kick her ass, I won't stop you."
Both teenagers began laughing until they heard a familiar song play from the speakers due to the DJ.
"Oh, no way. Oh, that's too perfect." Sam exclaimed with a happy grin on her face.
