Summer vacation in California was in its final week and beginning to come to an end for most. But for two, the heat only continued and got a lot hotter.
Sam and Robby sat on the floor in Mr Miyagi's house kissing each other. She had one hand against his chest while the other rest on the back of his neck, drawing him ever so closer to her. Meanwhile, he had a hand resting on her upper thigh. The sounds of the other students beginning their warm ups could be heard through the screen door by them. Both blanked it out and ignored it, until they couldn't any longer.
"Wait." She chuckled. "Aren't we supposed to be leading warm-ups?"
"Yeah, but your grandma's staying at the house, so this is the only private time we're gonna get."
"You know we're gonna have to tell my parents at some point." Samantha pointed out to him. "It's just not great timing. They're in the middle of a fight."
Robby smiled and nodded a little reassuring her, "So we'll wait for the right time." He leaned in and their lips met again.

Demetri picked something up from the ground in-between a rock and the decking. "Hey, guys, check it out! Look what I found. It was just sitting in these rocks."
"Is that Mr. Miyagi's Medal of Honour?" Sam asked walking out into the backyard with Robby. She took the sentimental item from the boy. She glanced to her right to her boyfriend with a big smile on her face, "That's crazy. We looked all over for this."
Robby didn't look very surprised as he was the one who put it there, "Huh. Must have been here the whole time."

George had taken the day off work to do a few odd jobs around the apartment. It reminded him of the time last year when he and his family moved to the Valley. It was insane to him that they had been there a year. At this moment he was going to valet and service his own car as well as his wife's car. He stood next to his car and dipped a large sponge into a bucket of luke warm soapy water and began washing the outside of it. Aeresol cans of tyre cleaner, upholstery cleaner, a packet of dashboard wipes, bottles of oil, wax, screen wash, along with his home vacuum all sat around and next to that bucket.
The former Cobra glanced up as he saw Carmen walking in the direction of the Diaz apartment giggling with a man in a brown tweed jacket with a cup of coffee in his hand. "Morning, Carmen."
"Morning, George."
Phoebe's dad just gave the man a simple nod.
The man laughed, "Do you want to do my car?"
"Only if you pay me." George laughed back, but he was quite serious. "Carmen, I'll do yours as a favour."
"No, no. Please, George. Don't even think about it." She declined.
"I insist."
"Thank you, George." She smiled. Miguel's mother and George both heard another door open and it was Johnny coming out of his own apartment.
"Oh, good morning." Carmen greeted her other neighbour. "Are you heading out? I think Miguel left already."
"Morning, Johnny. Phoebe definitely left twenty minutes ago."
"Oh, yeah, yeah. Just, uh, on my way, so..." Johnny said trying to cover up the fact that he was going to knock on the Diaz' door and hope that she would open the door.
George watched him for a few seconds. He sensed that Johnny had a thing for Carmen. He seemed almost too nervous to admit it, especially since Carmen was already on a date with another man. The complete opposite to how Johnny was in the eighties. Back then Johnny strode up to Ali and other girls with an aura of confidence and ask them out like a man whether there was another guy around or not and he was with her for two years. Though he would avoid girls in serious relationships.
