No Mercy | Part Five

Demetri made it back to the far end of the foyer near the trophy case. Hawk had finally caught up to him, grabbed his shoulder and spun him around. He felt so confident that he would beat Demetri in two seconds. Hawk kicked and rained punches down on him.

Demetri quickly deflected the punch by blocking it with his forearm. He did it by instinct. He had anticipated and reacted just like Daniel had taught him.

Hawk rained more and more down. He was getting more and more angry, the more his hits were getting blocked somehow by Demetri, who had his hands up by his head. His former best friend even had the balls to swipe his leg away when he sent a kick his way.

The two rivals stood there staring at each other in shock at Demetri's actions for a second.

Hawk roared out as he launched himself towards Phoebe's cousin.

Anticipating another attack, Demetri caught him and spun him around. "No hard feelings." Before his binary brother could regain his footing, he delivered a powerful roundhouse kick to the face sending Hawk into the trophy case behind him. The glass shattered and sharp shards fell to the floor along with Hawk, and a few trophies and medals.

The onlooking students all went "Ooh!" with their phones in their hands filming the altercation.

Hawk rolled from his side to his back carefully. Luckily, he had quick enough reflexes that his arms went up to his head to protect it from the glass assault. His face had several purple bruises- the most prominent being at his left eyebrow and his chin, his lip was bloody and now he was sure the shards of glass had cut through his T-shirt and hoodie to be embedded in his tattoo. He felt no blood on his back though. He couldn't believe it. The fight was over. He had lost to Demetri. A Cobra had lost to a pathetic Miyagi-Do. The only people he should lose to is Miguel and/or Phoebe as they had trained longer than him. This was more humiliating than the verbal shots fired at the party. It felt like he lost a fight to Bert of all people. As he and Demetri were on the same fighting level.

"Sorry, Eli." He apologised.

Hawk just glared at him.

Miguel ran up to Robby and shoved him back and then aimed a front kick at him and then a combo of different kicks.

Robby blocked his kicks and then swung several times at Miguel and then went for a high kick, which his rival had managed to duck and lean out of the way of all of them. Miguel kicked out at him again. Robby grabbed his leg and hit the inside of his knee with his elbow, and he then elbowed him in the face.

Miguel crashed to the floor.

"That's for taking advantage of Sam!"

"I would never."

"Then why did it happen?"

Miguel jumped up. Yelling out, he ran at Robby and went to punch him, but Robby moved quickly out of the way. They exchange a few blows by blocking them. The Cobra got hold of Robby's arm and latched onto it.

Robby managed to escape from him and he elbowed Miguel in the side.

Tory kept attacking Sam with her deadly spiked bracelet with fury fuelling her.

Samantha managed to duck and dodge the attacks, and block them. She also kicked Tory away from her.

Tory fought back. She blocked a jab from Sam, and was able to grasp her arm. With her other hand, the one that held the bracelet, she struck Sam's arm. The spikes of the bracelet ripped through the girl's purple blouse and skin.
