The house is perfect, this is Spencer's first thought stepping into the backyard from the small porch behind the property. The house itself isn't too big nor too small, it'll fit the two humans and three dogs of his tiny family. He and Sam will take the master bedroom on the far end of the upstairs floor, it's at the back with a large window overlooking the yard. He wasn't completely aware it was two floors, isn't sure if it was noted in the listing or if he just skimmed over it in his excitement. Yet he's happy it is and gives space to the medium-sized house. He can turn the guest room downstairs into his office, the other bedroom can be whatever they see fit. The idea of turning it into a pet room is appealing, not for the dogs, rather for when Spencer finally gets the poor puppy in Sam to come out.
He can buy or make custom toys and furniture for Sam, for them, to experiment with. The thought gives a spark of excitement, craving it immediately. Of course, Sam is just getting into listening and obeying, learning what type of Submissive he is and how things work. It'll take some work to get his boy to admit he wants to be a pet, a puppy. However, he has a feeling his little baker will be more willing once they move in; no outside interference of thin walls or fear of someone knowing.
The fresh paint in the house is a good, calming light shade of white through the entire house. Spencer will paint his office, but leave the rest of the house for Sam to decide if he wants to paint or not. Counters in the kitchen have a pretty blue black marble as a design, the island having dark wood colors. The hardwood floor is the same dark shade throughout the house, needing rugs to prevent the dogs from sliding or tripping. The bathroom on the first floor is in the hall going from the open-plan kitchen and living area to the back door, the new office next to the stairs.
The living room is large, big enough for a nice, giant sectional and a few little comfortable chairs. His huge TV and sound systems will fit, making it feel like a movie theater. The man can already imagine the dogs running through chasing each other, watching movies cuddled on the couch with Sam. Helping Sam cook in the kitchens. Doing whatever he wants to Sam in the bedroom. Continuing to train his puppy in that second useless bedroom. Playing in the backyard, having little bonfires or just messing around. It will be perfect. It is perfect for them. Spencer can't wait to get his boy here, hear his thoughts and what Sam would change.
The dogs will fall in love with the space and being able to run everywhere, the yard especially. The green grass and large fences will give them comfort, privacy. They can bark all they like, chase squirrels and wrestle just like at the park. Sam will love that they can continue their daily walks to the park, even to the ice cream shop the dogs enjoy and to the bakery. Spencer has a car, merely doesn't use it because Sam enjoys walking. His boy is good in the car, the date to the movie theater showed that. If Spencer encourages the baker, he knows Sam will forget walking and ride in the vehicle if he was asked to.
Sam is getting to where Spencer can get him to do virtually anything, it may take some words and encouragement, but he will do it. His trust is growing and learning to depend on the older man, takes his word with minor questions. The only time that he may refuse or inquiry more than innocent asks, is if someone outside their relationship makes him doubt Spencer. Which he is afraid that exactly may happen today, Sam was excited about a phone call from that friend of his in England when the man left. Spencer doesn't like the thought of his boy speaking to another man without him there, more so that this specific man is known and trusted as a best friend - he can plant doubts into Sam's mind. There is no uncertainty that Sam will tell Charlie about the house, about their relationship; that Charlie will question the time and short period they have been together.
He told Sam to hold his friend off until Spencer returned, giving the claim that he wanted to meet his boyfriends' best friend. Sam had grinned, looking absolutely delighted at the thought that he had promised to ask Charlie to FaceTime a little later if the man could. The baker was excited to spend his day off with his friend, dogs and Spencer. Woke up happy and bouncing around the kitchen as he fed the dogs their breakfast, Spencer watching from the stove with an amused smirk.
