Moving was remarkably easy. Spencer called a moving truck and assisted in carrying down the heavier furniture; the sectional and dressers or the mattress. Sam gathered their clothes in boxes, packing away his own apartment and the cute things he had collected. The dog's toys and spare harnesses, leashes and clothes, and beds go into a box as well. Sam had bought each of them sweaters or raincoats to help the thin coated dogs keep warm, they're big animals but with thin fur, they get chiller faster. He fills two large boxes with his dog's stuff. His own clothes and necessities take up two medium boxes, and the kitchen supplies take three. Spencer has much more stuff; a dresser full of clothes, electronics for his job, game stations and games, speakers, and the huge flat-screen TV. Sam spends most of the first day helping his boyfriend box up the man's stuff, asking what he wants to keep or throw away. They donate whatever won't fit them or their dogs anymore, Sam stealing larger shirts for himself and the animals to wear. Spencer teases him about it, yet suggests certain shirts for them.

It takes them a week to move entirely, and two days to get everything in the house. The movers delivered the furniture on the first day, and they set up the bed in the master bedroom. Sam fiddled about in the kitchen, placing everything where he can find it while Spencer fixed the living room up. The dogs enjoyed time in the backyard as they moved things around. The spare bedroom turned into a temporary room for the dogs, all their beds and toys were placed in there. They slept in the house the day Spencer signed the papers, in the same bed and room. The redhead whispering into Sam's ear about how much fun it'll be, what they'll do, and more training to be a submissive. Sam fell asleep being told he was a good boy for obeying and following Spencer so easily. Not asking questions or putting up a fight. For not forcing the man to take dramatic actions to get him into the house.

It takes some days to contact the manager of the apartment building, having moved so abruptly she wasn't prepared with the papers to cut the rent agreement. She allowed them to come into her office, talking their ears off about how sad she'll be to see Sam and the dogs go, but that she was so happy they found a home. Spencer paid for both of their rents for the month, ignoring Sam's protests, and simply commanded the younger to sign the paper that cut his remaining ties to the home he's lived in for years. Without much thought to it, Sam obeyed and signed his name on the paper, watching Spencer sign his own lease papers to end the contract. Then, he simply thanked the woman and dragged the baker out of the building. Sam observed how eager Spencer was to get him back to the new house as quickly as possible, not allowing a stop for anyone that seemed shocked Sam was moving from the building. He didn't think too much of the behavior, assuming it was just excitement to be together in their new home. In the car to the house, Sam mentioned his parents. Telling the man they wouldn't be very happy with his decision to move in with Spencer, especially without having met the redhead and not knowing of him.

This news seemed to make Spencer tense, yet suggested they come to visit when the house is settled and they have done everything they planned to. Sam agreed with that, wanting to make sure the house is cleaned and in proper order before he invites his parents there. His mother would judge the state of the house first, then Spencer. The baker wants to avoid accusations that the man isn't caring for the dogs and himself, that the Youtuber is lazy or isn't right Sam. His parents worry, it's only natural, after all. However, he has neglected talking to them about Spencer and while he feels guilty for it, he is also happy. He had the ability to go into any kind of relationship with the man blindly, without the concerns and constant worry of his parents. They would've only made him anxious with the scenes they talked about, and the threats from his father. Without them making him paranoid about every single interaction, he was able to make a friend and a boyfriend out of the man. Having what he has now, genuine happiness is worth a few comments and looks of disappointment or anger from his parents. They won't cease speaking to him or disown him for this, they are aware he has right to keep stuff from them and have privacy. Once he explains his reasoning, he is positive they will understand.
