Chapter 6

Next morning.

Vaishnavi woke up on time. She got ready.

Vaishnavi's POV: It's first time when I am not scared. I am feeling comfortable and good. I will try my best and will try not to make him angry. If he will be not angry. He won't punish me. Thank you Krishna jii....

She went out of room and saw maid working in kitchen. Vaishnavi went in kitchen.

Maid (small smile): Good morning Ma'am.

Vaishnavi (small smile): Good morning aunt. Please call me Vaishnavi not Ma'am.

Maid: Alright... I am preparing omlette and salad for breakfast. You want anything else?

Vaishnavi nodded in no.

Vaishnavi: Let me help you.

Maid: I will manage.

Vaishnavi (nervous): I can help you please?

Maid: Okay...

Vaishnavi took salad cutting it. Maid continued preparing omlette.

After a few minutes.

Abhishek came. He sat on dinning.

Abhishek (busy in file): Aunt coffee?

Maid served coffee in mug.

Maid: Vaishnavi please give it to sir.

Vaishnavi (worried): Me?

Maid nodded. Vaishnavi sighed. She took coffee from maid's hand.

Maid: Thank you.

Vaishnavi looked at Abhishek. She took deep breath. She placed coffee in front of Abhishek. Abhishek looked up and saw Vaishnavi.

Abhishek: Morning!!

Vaishnavi (nervous): Good morning.

She went back in kitchen and continued her room. Soon breakfast was ready.

Maid: Vaishnavi, you go and sit.

Vaishnavi's POV: Though he is fine with me living here and also he assured me I will be safe here but I will have my meals after him. May he won't like me sitting with him. Yaa that's perfect.

Vaishnavi: Aunt, you please serve him. I will have my breakfast afterwards.

Maid went out and served Abhishek.

Abhishek (looking in kitchen): Vaishnavi come for breakfast?

Vaishnavi hurriedly came out.

Abhishek: Come have your breakfast.

Vaishnavi: You have. I will have later on.

Abhishek: Why later on?

Vaishnavi: Umm....

Abhishek: Kya soch rahi ho? Come sit...

Vaishnavi sat beside him.

Abhishek: You should have your meals on time.

She took breakfast according to her hunger. Abhishek didn't interfere. They had breakfast in silence. Vaishnavi was happy. She felt comfortable.

Abhishek: I am going to office. Will meet you in evening. Enjoy your day. If you are going somewhere take driver with you. Bye.

Vaishnavi (smile): Bye. Take care.

Abhishek: You too.

He left for his office. Vaishnavi smiled. She smile genuinely. Her eyes sparkled. She helped maid with household.

In evening.

Vaishnavi: Aunt, today I will cook dinner. You can leave for home early.

Maid: But-

Vaishnavi (cuts her): Please Aunt. Anyways, I don't have anything to do.

Maid: Okay... Sir likes light meal for dinner.

Vaishnavi nodded and last night's meal hit his mind. He cooked light food for her too. She thought for sometime.

Vaishnavi: Pulav. I know how to make Pulav. That will be good.

She went in kitchen and started preparing dinner. Maid left.

After sometime. Abhishek came home. He noticed Vaishnavi cooking in kitchen.

Abhishek: Where is Aunt?

Vaishnavi: Umm... I asked to leave early. I am preparing dinner.

Abhishek: Is it ready? I am really hungry.

Vaishnavi: Yes... I will settle on dinning by the time you get fresh.

Abhishek left.

After sometime. Abhishek came. They had dinner but in silence.

After dinner both left for their rooms.

Vaishnavi went in room and slept after getting fresh.

Everything seems fine for Vaishnavi. She is feeling comfortable, relax and safe. For Abhishek everything is same like before. He is behaving normal in front of all.

He went in room and took a bottle of liquor and lit the cigarette. After completing whole bottle and also a cigarette. He passed out while crying because of pain and guilt.
