Avneet was about to take Reem but Abhishek stopped her. Avneet rolled her eyes.
Siddharth: Tum log ruke kyun ho? Baith jao.
Abhishek: Happy late realization bhai.
Abhishek made Vaishnavi sit. Abhishek sat beside her with Reem.
Siddharth (going towards the kitchen): Main pani laya.
They settled down.
Siddharth: Reports me kya hain?
Abhishek: Reports aaye hi nahin. Kuch technical issue ke vajah se. Kal aayegi.
Avneet: Haan to hum jane wale hain na hospital. Hum collect kar lege if Vaishnavi ka checkup na ho to.
Abhishek: We are okay! By the way, tum log maa baap banne wale ho.
Avneet blush. Siddharth grinned. His grin grew even wider when Avneet blushed. Abhishek and Vaishnavi chuckled.
Sumedh (standing at the door): Mujhe to bache par abhi se taras aa raha hain.
Mallika (hitting his arm): Kyun kuch bhi bol rahe ho.
She walked in. Leaving him there.
Mallika: Congratulations guys!!
Avneet: Thank you.
Sumedh: Congratulations to me main phir se chachu banne wala hoon.
Abhishek: Baap bhi ban jaa. Hume chacha banne ka mauka de.
Sumedh: Ban to raha hain. Shanti se baith.
Avneet (confused): Ye chachu kaise?
Abhishek: Exactly main to fufa banuga gadhe.
Mallika (side hugging Vaishnavi): Congratulations soon-to-be bua ji... Jaldi se theek ho jao. Avneet ke baby ko hume sambhalna hoga.
Listening to Mallika's words, Siddharth snapped at Vaishnavi. His eyes then fell on Reem's photo (his sister) which was on the wall.
Siddharth: Reem hoti to pura ghar sar par utha diya hota abhi tak.
Listening to his words, Abhishek's eyes also fell on Reem's photo.
Abhishek (sad smile): I agree. Ek to haar baat ke liye vo over excited hoti thi.
Vaishnavi saw Abhishek and Siddharth. She then saw Reem's photo.
Vaishnavi's POV: Congratulations soon-to-be bua.
She had a small smile on her face. Seeing the cool atmosphere turning to low. Avneet senses the dilemma of Abhishek and Siddharth.
Avneet: Reemi hain na. Perfect copy of her mother. Isko koi samajhao what's this? Phir dekho.
Vaishnavi: Guys hold on. Pehle confirm ho jane do. Phir batana.
Sumedh, Mallika (confused): Confirm ho jane do Matlab?
Abhishek (sighed): Ab tu bhi Siddharth ke tarah natak na kar. Isko vahin samajha rahe the hum ke tu aa gaya.
Mallika: Check up nahin karaya?
Avneet shook her head.
Mallika: Okay no problem. We will wait to celebrate this news soon.
Reem was silently sitting, looking at everyone cluelessly.
Reem (irritated): Hadudx iolnfgy aorfb
She spoke something in her language. Everyone's attention turned to Reem.
Vaishnavi (hugging Reem): Kya hua mere baby ko?
Reem gave her an angry look.
Avneet (opening her arms to take Reem): Meri bachi se koi baat hi nahin kar raha. Aaja mera bacha. Mami and Reemi bahut saari baate karege.
Reem excitedly went to Avneet.
Avneet: Koi humari baat samajhta hi nahin hain. Sirf mami and Reemi hi smart hain. Ye sab to gadhe hain.
Everyone gave Avneet a "What?" look. She ignored it all with a giggle.
Reem (pointing at Vaishnavi): Maa...
Avneet: Haan Vaishnavi bhi smart hain. Vo meri Reemi ki maa jo hain. Par baki sab gadhe hain ye final.
Reem (clapping): Haa...
Abhishek (rolling his eyes): Papa ko aese bolte hain?
Reem pouted looking at Avneet.
Avneet: Haan bolte hain. Tu chup baith Abhishek.
Abhishek shook his head in disbelief.
Siddharth: Main dinner laga kar aaya.
Abhishek: Chal I will help you.
Both stood up.
Mallika: Sumu jao. Bache ho kya ke mumma instruct go and help karke.
She scolded him. He rolls his eyes standing up. Others giggle. The boys went left.
Mallika: You okay Vaish?
Vaishnavi (nodded): Haan I am fine.
Girls sat having their talks.
After a few minutes. Siddharth came to call the girls for dinner.
Siddharth: Chalo dinner ready hain. Jaan Reemi ko carry nahin karna.
Mallika: Reemu aaja chachi pass.
Mallika took Reem. She and Avneet left for dinner. Siddharth saw Vaishnavi.
Siddharth: Come?
Vaishnavi: Haan vo... I can't stand on my own because of pain. To Abhishek-
Siddharth (cuts her): Vo Abhishek call par busy hain. Uske boss ka hain I guess. I can help you if you don't mind.
Vaishnavi nodded. He went towards her and helped her. Holding her for support he was leading her towards the dining room.
Vaishnavi (mumbled): Bhaiya... I am sorry.
Siddharth (confused): Kyun? And bhaiya? You can call me by my name.
Vaishnavi: Hmm... If I can call bhaiya?
Siddharth: Okay but sorry?
Vaishnavi: Vo bua and sab. I am sorry but trust me I am not trying to be in Reem's shoes.
Siddharth (sighed): You don't need to be sorry about bua. Reemi mujhe mamu bhulayegi to of course uski maa meri sister hi hui. So, I am okay...
He whispers. Vaishnavi nodded. She saw him while he was looking at Reem and Avneet who were busy giggling over something.
Vaishnavi's heart felt a gush of emotions. She smiled looking at Siddharth as he made her sit beside Mallika.
