Chapter 69

Two months passed away in a blink of an eye. Physically Siddharth and Vaishnavi's health is improving. Siddharth resumed his office a few days back.

As Siddharth and Vaishnavi we're at home. Most of the time when they were alone at home either Siddharth was at Abhishek's place or Vaishnavi and Reemi at Siddharth's place. In these two months, these siblings bonded very well.

Reemi... She started walking and talking. She wants someone to talk with her all the time but on the phone. According to her, talking on the phone is like an "OMG I DID THIS" feeling.

Abhishek and Vaishnavi... Their journey started from strangers to friends to family friends and now they are on the stage of best friends.

Family friends how? In these two months, they realized unknowingly they are family friends who care in which way but both families are connected and they are family friends. From normal friends to family friends, the journey was special for them. Abhishek shared how he and Siddharth bonded. They imagined how they would have bonded if Vaishnavi and Abhishek would have met in childhood. Their journey reached Best friends where they know they can share anything or everything with each other. They know they have a strong back for each other. This feeling is new for Vaishnavi. Having someone beside you, supporting, helping you. For Abhishek, this isn't new but whenever you experience this feeling. This will spark a new life in you.

Avneet... She is three months pregnant. The little baby bump is visible. She is also bonding with Vaishnavi.

It was evening time. Siddharth is working from home today. So, Vaishnavi and Reem are at his place.

Siddharth was attending the meeting. Vaishnavi and Reem were playing hide and seek. Siddharth promised to join them once the meeting will end but his boss isn't leaving him. Siddharth is attending the meeting but his main focus is to curse his boss in mind because of whom he is stuck in this meeting.

Reem: Maa ide (hide)...

Reem closed her eyes but she doesn't know counting. She was mumbling something. Vaishnavi went into the room where Siddharth was. She went and was about to hide under the bed. Siddharth saw her.

Siddharth: Vaishu table ke piche baitho...

Vaishnavi followed his instruction and hid behind the table. Reem took a good long time to come to this room.

Reem: Maa?

Siddharth (fake thinking): Kidhar gayi?

Reem: Haww!!!

Siddharth went towards Reem and took her in his arms. Vaishnavi wasn't able to see anything. Siddharth acted like where is Vaishnavi and was finding her with Reem.

He took silent steps and walked towards Vaishnavi from behind. Reem saw Vaishnavi and was about to call her but Siddharth closed her mouth with his hand. He silently moved towards Vaishnavi.

Siddharth: Bawwww!!!!

Vaishnavi quickly turned towards them. Siddharth and Reem started laughing looking at Vaishnavi's face.

Vaishnavi (fake sad face): Aese dono mil kar maa ko dara rahe ho.

Siddharth (innocently): Nahi to... Reemi and Mamu ne sirf dhunda. Hai na reemi?

Reem nodded with a pout. Vaishnavi made a fake crying face. Reem jumped from Siddharth's arm and went towards Vaishnavi. She hug her and patted her head.

Reem (consoling): Shh!!! No kay... Shush!!!

Siddharth chuckled. So, Vaishnavi did.

Vaishnavi (pecking Reem's nose): Dadi amma...

Just then door bell rang.

Vaishnavi: Papa aa gaye... Chalo.

They went out and opened the door to see Abhishek and Avneet. They came in.

Avneet lazily sat on the sofa.

Siddharth (sitting beside her): What happened sweetheart?

Avneet (puppy eyes): Chinese khane ka man hai.

She said hugging him. Siddharth smiled at her. Abhishek gestures to Siddharth with a bye. Siddharth nodded understanding Avneet needs him.

Abhishek, Vaishnavi and Reem silently left. Though, as soon as they left Reem started asking for Mami. Abhishek changed the topic diverting her mind.

Abhishek: Dinner ke liye bahar chale?

Vaishnavi: Okay...

Reem: Ice-eeem...

Abhishek nodded.

Vaishnavi: Kaisa tha din?

Abhishek: Boring like always. Ye meetings na bahut irritate karti hai kabhi kabhi.

Vaishnavi: Par kitna proud hota hoga as you know itne logo me baith baat karna. Sab apna apna point rakhe and discussions.

She asked with glimmering eyes. Abhishek noticed in her eyes how curiously she was waiting for his answer.

Abhishek: Hmm... Kitna bhi bolo aese vaise ya kya but vo stage ka dream dekh kar bade hue hai na. Yes, that's a proud moment.

Vaishnavi (grinning): Yaa...

They went to a restaurant and ordered their dinner.
