Chapter 12

Next morning.

Vaishnavi woke up early than usual. She sat on the floor with the support of the bed.

Vaishnavi (with a smile): Now everything seems comfortable, perfect and relaxed. Living away from hell. Finally got a friend. He isn't judging me. This is perfect.

She stood up and went to get ready.

After sometime. She went into the hall to see no one. She saw the time. She was early today. She was going towards the kitchen when she heard sounds from Abhishek's room. Vaishnavi understood in a second that Reem is awake.

She went in to see Abhishek sleeping. Reem lying on her stomach beside Abhishek. She was busy playing with her fingers.

Vaishnavi went in and took reem in her arms.

Vaishnavi (whisper): Shh!! Papa is sleeping.

Reem (loudly): Papapapapapapapapapa

Vaishnavi got shocked and quickly took reem out. She went into her room and get reem fresh. They came into the hall. She sat on the sofa, taking reem on her lap.

Vaishnavi (pulling her cheeks): Cutie cutie...

Reem giggle. Vaishnavi closed her eyes with her hands.

Reem (pulling Vaishnavi's hand): Aaaaaaeeeee......

Vaishnavi (removing her hands from her eyes): Hii...

Reem chuckle. Reem too did the same.

Vaishnavi (dramatically): Arey!! Meri reemi... rimi timi...

Reem chuckled, removing her hands.

Vaishnavi (acting surprise): Hii...

Reem was enjoying this. She held Vaishnavi's hands and kept on Vaishnavi's eyes as if asking her to repeat it. They were playing and enjoying it. When Abhishek walked in.

Abhishek: Good morning girls.

Reem (giggling): Papapapapapa

Vaishnavi: Good morning.

Abhishek: Jaldi uth gayi?

Vaishnavi: Aankh khul gayi.

Abhishek nodded.

Vaishnavi: Tum fresh ho jao. Main breakfast prepare karti hoon.

Abhishek: Maid will be here any moment.

Vaishnavi: Yaa... I will see the arrangements by that time.

Abhishek nodded and went into the room. Vaishnavi went into the kitchen with reem. She made reem sit on the floor.

Reem (crawling and singing): shjhd hididhfchieinfff 

Vaishnavi tried to understand her words but couldn't. She shook her head and started arranging things while glancing at reem time to time.

Vaishnavi: Reemiii

She called her as she noticed reem was about to exit the kitchen. Reem saw her and crawl back towards her.

Vaishnavi (baby voice): Mere gudiya.

Reem giggle. She held Vaishnavi's legs and stood up.

Vaishnavi saw her and sat in front of her on her knees. She held Reem's hands.

Vaishnavi: Meri baby kya khayegi?

She took a slice of banana feeding reem. Just then Abhishek came there all ready in his casuals. He saw reem and Vaishnavi. He smiled and sat beside Vaishnavi.

Abhishek: Kya baate chal rahi hain dono me subah subah?

Reem (pout): gagagagaga

Vaishnavi: Girls talks. Tumhe kyun bataye?

Abhishek (fake crying face): Haww!! Reemi papa ko nahin batayegi?

Reem (giggling): Haww!!

She took her hands back from Vaishnavi's hold and dayumm sat on the floor. She made a sad face and was about to cry but Abhishek and Vaishnavi started laughing. Looking at them she too chuckles.

Vaishnavi unknowingly hit her head with the slab and the floor which was on the slab fell on Vaishnavi's face.

Abhishek saw her and burst out laughing. Reemi was shocked at first but looked at her dad. She too started laughing.

Vaishnavi (fake sad face): You guys are so bad.

Abhishek: Arey! Humne kya kiya?

Reem (angrily): Eeeee!!!!!

Abhishek (giggle): Haan to...

Reemi nodded.

Vaishnavi: Kitne bure ho tum dono.

She took some floor in her hand and threw it on Abhishek's face. Reem chuckle.

Vaishnavi: Ab sahi hain.

Before Abhishek could react. They heard the doorbell.

Abhishek: I guess the maid is here.

Vaishnavi: I will clean this mess. You go and get ready and clean reem as well.

Abhishek: Okay.

Abhishek took reem and went out of the kitchen. He opened the door first. Maid saw his condition. She smiled at them. Abhishek went into the room with reem. Maid came into the kitchen.

Maid: Vaishnavi leaves it. I will clean it. You go and get fresh.

Vaishnavi: It's okay. I will clean this mess. Please prepare breakfast.

Maid nodded and started her work.

Maid: After many days, Sir is smiling because of you only. You brought reem back into his life.

Vaishnavi (mumbling to herself): He too gave a new life, hope, and friend, his little girl.

She smiled thinking about him. 

After a few minutes. She cleaned the floor and went into the room to get ready. Soon, They sat for breakfast.
