Chapter 48

It was evening time. Everyone was at the hospital with Vaishnavi. Abhishek was with Doctor in the cabin, discussing Vaishnavi's health.

Abhishek: Today we can't discharge her?

Dr: No... We need to do tests. It was planned for today but as her stitches are paining. We can't. So, tomorrow we need her here for tests then in the evening we can discharge.

Abhishek: Yeah okay! Her health is fine?

Dr: I guess she doesn't have any internal injury but it is just a guess. For confirmation, we have to wait for tests.

Abhishek (sighed): Alright!

They continued the discussion then Abhishek went into Vaishnavi's wardroom to see Avneet complaining to Reem about her mamu (Siddharth). Reem gives angry looks to Siddharth. Vaishnavi, Sumedh, and Mallika enjoyed this show without popcorn.

Avneet (smiling): Sab ke sab gadhe hain yaha par. Koi meri samajhta hi nahin hain. Sirf meri Reemi hi smart hain. Ache se sab samajh jati hain.

Reem (giggling): Maa...

She patted Vaishanvi's hand.

Avneet (raising her eyebrow): Reemi ki maa bhi smart hain?

Reem nodded.

Avneet: Reemi bol rahi hain to I agree. Vaishnavi bhi smart hain but baki sab gadhe hain.

Reem (clapping): Yeeee...

Siddharth (rolling his eyes): Excuse me?

Avneet (flipping her hair): Excused Mr Sadiyal.

Reem laughed.

Siddharth (fake crying): Reemi mamu ko aese bol rahi hain?

Reem pouted.

Vaishnavi (caressing Reem's hair): Reemi aese nahin bolte. Bad manners hote hain. Mamu ko sorry bolo baby.

Reem nodded. She looked at Siddharth and held her ears.

Avneet (fake crying): Aese na karo Vaishu. Aese Reemi bhi Siddharth ke side ho jayegi to mera kya hoga.

Reem (crying face): Maa... Ma-ma (pointing at Avneet).

Avneet (frown): Main mama nahin mami hoon.

Siddharth (poking his tongue): Ye sahi tha.

He chuckled.

Avneet (glaring at Siddharth): Main marugi tumhe.

Just then Abhishek came in.

Abhishek: Enough now. Tum dono ladaku pati patni ka aaj se Reemi se milna band. Tum dono usko bigad doge.

Avneet: Chup kar jaa nahin to main Reemi leke chali jaugi. Tujhse milne bhi nahin dugi Reemi ko.

Siddharth: I agree with Avneet. Tu zyada hoshiyaari na kar.

Reem (nodding): Haa papa...

Avneet: Dekha teri hi beti humare sath hain.

Siddharth: Chal ab side hum jayege.

Reem: Maa...

She pouted looking at Siddharth.

Avneet: Reemi ke sath uski maa free, okay?

Siddharth (dramatically looking at Vaishnavi): Chalo maa humare sath.

Reem glared at Siddharth. She stood up, hugging Vaishnavi possessively.

Reem (angrily): My maa ma-ma...

Everyone silently giggles at her possessiveness.

Siddharth (side hugging Vaishnavi): Meri bhi maa theek.

Reem shook her head and was trying to push Siddharth away from Vaishnavi.

Reem (possessively): Papa ma-ma...

She complained.

Abhishek (controlling his smile): Ab main kyun help karu? Mama and Mami ki help lo.

Vaishnavi (chuckle): Main Reemi ki maa hoon, okay?

Reem (wobbling her head): Naa ma-ma?

Vaishnavi: No my baby. Only Reemi.

Reem (pointing at Siddharth): Naa...

Siddharth (puppy eyes): Meri bhi, please?

Reem (shooking her head): Naa...

Abhishek: Chalo ab bahut masti ho gayi. Reemi yaha aao.

Reem shook her head, hugging Vaishnavi.

Avneet: Jaa tu... Nahin aana Reemi ko tere pass.

Reem (giggle): Jaa...

Everyone looked at Reem with shock. She laughs loud, looking at everyone.

Sumedh: Bhaii ye or do din Avneet ke sath rahi to uski carbon copy pakka ban jayegi. Ye bolna seekhe na seekha. Logo ko sunana pehle seekhegi.

Avneet (proud smile): Arey waah!! I am proud of you meri bachi.

She pecked her forehead. Reem was enjoying this.

Sumedh: Ek baat sochne wali hain. Siddharth and Avneet ke bacho ka kya hoga.

Abhishek: Baap sadiyal or Maa savage queen. Baap re baap.

Vaishnavi (looking at Abhishek): Aese kyun bol rahe ho? Unke bache bhi cute hoge.

Siddharth (smirking): Dekho Abhishek, Sumedh sikho kuch. Khud nikamme ho to mere bacho ko bhi vaise banana hain.

Vaishnavi giggles. Just then the nurse came.

Nurse: Meeting time is over. Please leave everyone. Only 2 people can stay here and also take the baby with you home. The hospital isn't good for babies for a long time.

Mallika: Main and Sumedh aaj rukte hain. Tum sab jao. Tum logo ne kal proper rest nahin ki hain. Abhishek Reemi ko tumhari and Vaishnavi ki habit hain. Raat ko at least 1 to ho uske sath.

Abhishek agreed. He went towards the bed. He took Reem in his arms.

Abhishek (kissing Vaishnavi's forehead): Take care. Main morning me aata hoon.

Reem (kissing Reem's nose): Maa...

Vaishnavi: Good night baby. Papa ko tang nahin karna.

Avneet: Take care Vaishu...

Vaishnavi smile and nodded. Siddharth gave Vaishnavi a small smile. She reciprocated same. They left then.
