Chapter 31

Abhishek blinked his eyes. Giving her surety of her safety. Vaishnavi was still scared but nodded.

Siddharth: Hmm...

Siddharth looked at Vaishnavi and then at Abhishek. He raised his eyebrow looking at Abhishek as if asking if he can stay here or not. Abhishek gave him fake smile. He was stuck between Siddharth and Vaishnavi. Whom he can support.

Abhishek: You can Siddharth.

He said after thinking for a few seconds. Vaishnavi's eyes were wide in shock. She somehow composed herself but she was so damn scared.

Avneet: I will be back in 2 hrs.

Vaishnavi's pov: No... 2hrs? I can't. What if he-? No no... I can't be here alone with him. Please God save me, please.

Abhishek (nervous): Siddharth one request. I know you must be tired because of travelling. You want to take a rest. Please take a rest in this room.

Avneet: You mean in your room?

Abhishek: Umm... Yeah! Vaishnavi is using another room. So...

He trailed off.  Siddharth sighed.

Abhishek: Breakfast ke baad we will leave?

Avneet: Tum kar lo. Humne flight me kiya tha. Hum Reemi ke sath hain tab tak.

Abhishek (nodded): Guys can you please excuse us for a minute?

Avneet nodded. Siddharth stared at Abhishek for good seconds and left with Avneet.

Abhishek went near Vaishnavi and held her hands.

Vaishnavi (whisper): Please don't...

Abhishek: Do you trust me?

Vaishnavi (looking down): Yes...

Abhishek (smiled): Remember, initials days me you were scared of me too.

Vaishnavi nodded

Abhishek: Trust me... He ain't gonna do anything. Karna to door sochega bhi nahin. Tumhe vo dekhega bhi nahin. He will be in the room. Kab tak tum aese dar ke jiogi?

Vaishnavi nodded. She was relieved? No... She still has fear in her mind.

Abhishek: Kab tak aese logo se darna hain? Be strong. Trust me, please. He will not do anything.

Vaishnavi nodded. She took a deep breath and trusted his words.

Abhishek: He will be in the room only. If he is sleeping then Reem will be with you. If not then let him spend some time with Reem. He won't trouble you. I promise.

Vaishnavi nodded.

Abhishek: Are you okay, right?

Vaishnavi again nodded. Abhishek can sense she isn't comfortable with Siddharth alone. He knew what she have gone through.

Abhishek: Tum breakfast set karo. Main aaya.

Vaishnavi: Hmm...

She walked out of the room. Abhishek dialled his boss.

Abhishek: Hello...

Boss: Haan Abhishek...

Abhishek: Sir because of some emergency. I need half a day for today.

Boss: Oh!! Do one thing... Come to the office now. Attend the meeting with Shah groups then you can take leave.

Abhishek: Sir I need leave for 1st half. After lunch, I will join today's shift.

Boss: Not possible Abhishek. We need to attend the Shah group meeting. You can take leave after the meeting.

Abhishek: Okay sir. I will let you know if I need leave for the second half or not. Bye...

Boss: Bye

With this, he hangs up the call.

Abhishek (sighed): Ab kya karu? Vaishnavi ko hi samajhana padega and she even needs this. All men are not the same. But aese first time hi akele chorna.

He went out of the room. Vaishnavi already arranged breakfast for dining. Reem was with Siddharth and Avneet. They were playing with her and feeding her.

Abhishek and Vaishnavi sat for breakfast. Both silently had it.

Avneet: Mujhe bhi drop kar dena office. Driving nahin hogi mujhse.

Abhishek nodded.

Abhishek (whisper): Don't worry and don't be scared. Siddharth is a nice guy. He won't do anything. Trust me. I promise you are safe.

Vaishnavi: Hmm...

After bidding bye Abhishek and Avneet left for the office.

Siddharth: I am in the room with Reem.

Vaishnavi nodded. Siddharth took Reem and went into Abhishek's room. Vaishnavi took a deep breath of relief and went into her room.

After an hour or so, Vaishnavi went into the kitchen to prepare dinner. She was cutting Vegetables but was lost in thought.

No doubt, she trusts Abhishek and his words. She was even okay as Siddharth was in Abhishek's room as Abhishek said. Still, she has a fear in mind. After all, she has gone through a lot. Being in a room with known men. She has spent countless nights satisfying them for their physical needs but against her will. She needs time.

Reem came into the kitchen crawling. She saw Vaishnavi.

Reem (excited): Maa...

Vaishnavi was so lost in thoughts to even sense her presence or listen to her voice.

Just then Siddharth came. He directly came towards Vaishnavi and pulled her dupatta. He took off her dupatta. She got so shocked. She has a knife in her hand. She tried to hit him to protect herself but Siddharth was smart enough to hold her hand before she could hit him.
