Chapter 34

Danielle's Point of View

Last night was just... I can't even describe it, it was just, I guess it was perfect. It was the right time, with the right person and... I'm glad it happened.

The sun was starting to peer through the blinds of the room lighting it up a little. Slowly opening my eyes I'm facing the side table, I take my phone and check the time, 9:40am. Setting it back on the table I turn around facing Calum who is still fast asleep.

Curling up back into him and try to sleep again, I just can't, this burst of happiness is racing right through me and I can't keep still.

"Can you stop moving, I'm trying to sleep!" He said taking my arm while his eye were still closed. I giggled lightly.

"Sorry..." I apologise. He opens his eyes, stretches his arms out then looks at me.

"Good morning"

"Good morning to you too" I smile. "How are you?"

"I'm great! how are you?" He stretched out the word 'great'

"I'm amazing!" I replied the same way as he did, we laughed for a little bit before I stopped and looked at him.

"What...?" He laughed.

"Nothing... I just, I don't know" I shrugged. "I can't believe that happened, not in a bad way! I'm just, I'm glad it happened with you..."

He pulled me in for a hug. "Your cute, you are." he then cupped my face so I was looking at him. "I'm glad it happened with you too" he smiled before pecking my lips. "Right, come on, I'm gonna go shower whilst you can handle the embarrassment downstairs" he laughed taking a towel from the chair standing up and wrapping it round himself.

I put my hands over my face and groaned. "Oh I hate you!" I shouted as I heard the shower turn on.

"Love you too!" I heard him shout back.

I got ready into a pair of leggings, a tank top and a zipper. I brushed my hair into a quick pony before going downstairs. Everyone was sat around the island and as I walked in I smiled at everyone going to get a mug from the cabinet to make some tea.

"Morning" I chirped. I put some water in the kettle before heating it up.

"Have fun last night?" Michael asked as Luke and Ashton spluttered up their drinks and everyone else started to stifle their laughs.

I turned round putting my elbows on the table and my head in my hands in embarrassment.

"Aw stop guys, she's obviously embarrassed" Miriam defended. The kettle stopped boiling and I took a tea bag from the container putting it in the mug before pouring in the water. Stirring it round and taking out the tea bag I sipped on it turning round to face everyone.

"Yes actually I did, answering your question, Mike. What about you guys?" I smiled taking another sip.

They all nodded still trying hold back laughter.

I groaned. "Was it that bad...?"

"Oh Calum ! Oh Danielle !" Michael mocked as everyone started to laugh again.

"Okay! Okay! I get the point..." I took another sip of my tea as I could feel my cheeks burn with embarrassment. "So uh... what are we doing today then?"

They all looked around the table before looking back at me and shrugging.

"How about we go to town and do a some shopping, go for some lunch then go to the beach for a bit?" I suggested.

"Yeah sounds good" Kaelyn agreed.

"Yeah, I want to see a bit of Australia" April piped up.

"Then Calum can get his hair dyed" Michael sniggered.

"Oh my..." I sighed.

"Wait, if we're going shopping, I am not, repeat, not..." Luke raised his eye brows and made sure we were listening "Getting dragged around Victoria Secret or Sephora or Forever 22"

"21!" Me and the girls all said in unison making Luke jump back a little in shock.

"Forever 21, then"

"Yeah, me neither, I'm not really into all the pink and fluffy girly stuff" Miriam chipped in.

I put my mug down. "Oh really, what you into then?"

"Band tees, skinny jeans, skulls, anything black" she shrugged.

"That's my girl " Ashton smirked giving her a high five.

I do understand though I mean I don't exactly picture her in anything brighter than blue. It just wouldn't look right.

Me on the other hand I'm a mixture I do love pink sparkly things, flowery tops, flowy skirts and flower crowns. But then I also love skinny jeans, baggy tops, band tees.

"Right then, I am going to go and get ready then!" April got up from her seat and started jogging up the stairs. You could hear her humming a song as she did.

"Yeah, and me" Kaelyn got down after her. Miriam doing the same.

"See you later boys!"

As the weather was really nice out I got dressed into black high waisted denim shorts, a white crop top, a black kimono with fringes at the bottom paired with my white converse. I did some light make-up before straightening my hair and tying it half up half down. I then added some loose bracelets and a long heart necklace.

I was back in my room which felt kinda strange because it had been a while, but it was nice too.

I took my black shoulder bag from the wardrobe putting in my essentials, taking one last look at myself and then heading downstairs to meet everyone.

"Okay! I'm ready!" I said sprinting down the stairs. I looked round and noticed that Calum and Michael weren't there. I sighed. "Okay, where are Malum?"

Everyone shrugged. Just as I was about to shout them down Michael came waltzing down the stairs in a black shirt with a leather jacket, black skinny jeans and combat boots. Calum came behind him with a white shirt black skinny jeans and black converse his glasses on top of his head.

"What took you so long?" Kaelyn asked them. "You took longer than me... Nuh-uh I'm not having that" she disagreed making us all laugh.

"Uh duh, my hair, it takes ages to make it look this good" he stated pointing at it before striking a pose.

"Right if you are quite finished, we'd like to go now" Ashton whined.

He put up the collars of his jacket and tyres to look badass. Kaelyn came and put then back down as they headed for the door.

I gasped loudly as everyone looked at me. "Kae you have to tell me where your top is from, I love it!" I squealed.

"I know right!" Kaelyn squealed with me. We then noticed the look everyone was giving us and we cleared out throats.

"Right, can we go now!" April ushered us all out.

It was nice to have this bundle of dorks with me, they were amazing. They were the people that kept me going. And I love them for that.
