Chapter 20

Calum's Point of View

All four of us boys were sat around the living room as Danielle and Kaelyn got to know each other upstairs.

"You've hit the jackpot, mate I'm proud" I say fist bumping him as he grins and blushes uncontrollably.

"How long has it been?" Luke asks.

He shrugs "A couple months, we just sorta made it official a couple weeks ago"

"A couple months ! And you never told us?! I thought we were your best friends ... " Ashton says fake crying.

"Sorry..." he apologises laughing a little.

"Where did you meet ?" I ask him.

"Starbucks actually... I was uh.. I was ordering my drink I didn't know she behind me, so when I turned around she was there making my drink spill all over her. She wasn't the type of girl to go 'oh my god my top!' She just sorta looked up at me at laughed. I cleaned up most of her top, bought her a drink and we started talking" he smiled. I heard Luke and Ashton snort and giggle with laughter. "What?"

"Dude, that's the sort of think you'd get in a movie" Ashton giggles making me laugh too. Man his giggle is contagious.

"Yeah well it does happen in reality" he says smirking smugly.

Danielle's Point of View

Me and Kaelyn were just getting to know each other you know, likes and dislikes, boys, clothes you know the typical girl stuff. She also told me how her and Michael met, so cute. It was finally nice to meet a girl I could potentially end up being best friends with. She really was a sweet girl with an amazing personality.

"So have you heard about the boys going on tour?" I ask her after our little laughing fit.

"Yeah, yeah, Michael told me. Im actually in college and I do online schooling so I just need to hand my work in every Sunday" she nods.

"Oh okay, that's cool when did you start online schooling? I might think about it 'cause in still in school and I don't wanna have to pay a fine cos in not in"

" I started at like the start of senior year. I just find it easier as well. I used to get bullied too so... I just wanted escape from school life.." she bows her head.

"Hey, you okay?" I say putting an arm on her shoulder.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, just... memories that's all" she lifts up her head and I see that's she's teary eyed. I don't want to tell her about me getting bullied because she might see Calum and Michael differently, so I'll just leave it.

"Hey, come here" I say pulling her in for a hug.

"Sorry, first impressions and I'm already crying" she half sniffles and laughs.

"Don't be silly, it's fine" I smile rubbing her back in comfort "Right, here's what we'll do" I say as we pull apart "We're gonna order pizza have a massive movie night and stuff our faces with any other junk food we can find"

She giggles wiping away tears "What?"

"Whenever someone is upset, we eat and watch movies. Plus your part of the Clifford-Jones-Hood-Hemmings-Irwin family now, you better get used to it" I say nudging her. "C'mon"

We walk downstairs and find the boys laughing away. Ashton's giggle standing out from everyone else's.

"Are you okay Kaelyn, have you been crying?" Michael asks going over to hug her.

"Yeah, Danielle cheered me up but" she laughs.

"Oi, Clifford. Don't mess this up, she's a keeper" I say nudging her again.
