Calum's Point of View
I added my mug to the pile of dishes that were piling up but I didn't bother cleaning them up I just ignored them and walked upstairs to my room.
I shut the door behind me leaning against it, I took deep breaths in and out trying to get my head together because it was all messed up right now.
I was like this every year when it came to their anniversary. When it does come around I normally stay in my room and off social media for a couple days and coming back out like nothing happened.
This time, for some reason it's hitting me way harder than usual, and I think it's because, all this stuff with the band, the tour and the possible album soon, I wish my parents were here so that I could show them how hard I'm working. Just so I can tell them, "I did it!"
I slid down the door hitting the hard floor, I put my head in my hands and just cried. It felt good letting out everything I've bottled up but I just wanted them here to comfort me. They weren't the best parents but they were my parents and I loved them.
I tugged harshly at my hair, stomped on the ground, I just let everything go.
"Cal.." I heard a voice on the other side of the door. "If you want me to go, I'll go but, I just wanted to say. You've listened to all of my problems, been my shoulder to cry on and just always been there when I've been down. I've forgotten that you have your own things to deal with too, and I never listen. You don't have to open the door to me, but I just want you to know, that I am here for you and I am here to listen too..." She sighed on the other side of the door.
"Wait.." I called weakly. I moved away from the door, leaving it open a little bit to show her that I wanted her in. I walked over to my bed and sat down on it wiping my face. She slowly walked in a couple seconds after. "I just... I just want them here. Not up there or wherever they are. Here." I emphasised as much as I could.
She didn't say anything but just came and hugged me tight, really tight. It didn't help the emptiness in my heart but it did a little bit, just knowing that she does love me.
"It's okay... You don't have to go through this on your own anymore." She told me quietly whilst I just continued to cry, and I kept on crying until I just couldn't cry anymore.

I laughed loudly as Danielle did this weird dance across my room. She walked back and forth like a complete spaz, but it made me laugh and I didn't care. She came back to the bed a lay down shoving a chip in her mouth.
"Are you feeling better?" She asked turning her head. I took a chip from the plate, nodding as I ate it.
"Yeah, thanks." I took another chip and ate it. We sat in silence for a bit. She twirled her hair which was up in s pony tail in her finger making noises with her tongue. "How's your schoolwork going then?"
She shrugged. "It's okay, I mean it's not hard but it's not easy either. I was thinking of going back to school for the last couple months to graduate."
"Yeah, sounds good." She sat up on the bed and crossed her legs in a basket. She looked down at the bed before looking to me. I looked at her wide eyed. "What?"
She sighed. "Are you sure you're okay? I've never seen you that upset before..." Her voice got quieter.
I looked down and nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine." Okay I sort of lied there. I mean I am fine, but not completely fine. But I'll be fine.
I felt the bed move around, she came over and gave me a side hug. "I know your not fine, I'm not completely stupid." She laughed lightly.
I lifted her chin up so she was looking at me. She smiled at me with droopy eyes. She put her hand gently around my neck and pulled me closer to her until our lips touched.
"I love you." I smiled.
"I love you too." She smiled back.
Miriam's Point of View
I knew I was going insane the minute I stepped foot onto it, but I had too, I was going crazy these last couple days. I couldn't work, or function, I tried but I simply couldn't.
I ran my hand through my hair nervously as I sat down, breathing in and out deeply I took out my phone and earphones and shuffled my music. I put my earphones in my ears before leaning against the window and biting my nails.
Everyone else around me was shuffling around trying to find their seats but it didn't bother me at all. The only thing on my mind was:
Was he going to be happy to see me?
