"Good luck getting her attention."

"I'm not sure what to say to her. I might as well join the line of people wanting to talk to her."

"Oh, come on. Be optimistic. Here I'll give you a headstart." Josie shoved Landon towards Hope, making it seem like an accident.

"S-So sorry. Your friend is quite clumsy."

"You must have tripped while trying not to fall for me." Hope said with a laugh.

"Oh. Funny you'd say that. I'm Landon, and you are?" The boy couldn't help but stare at the most beautiful pair of blue eyes he had ever seen.

"Hope Mikaelson, your grace."

"You know I think I need a drink, would you like one?"

"Sure, Landon. Get me a drink."

The boy quickly sneaked away with cold sweat already on his forehead and helped himself to two drinks of whatever non alcoholic beverage was offered at the camp. He came back and found Hope sitting at a picnic table with a few other people and offered her the drink. The girl had a sip and pulled a face right after.

"Lame. They might as well have us drink fruit punch."

Everyone at the table laughed and then a boy leaned towards the middle of the table.

"That's why you always need to come prepared girl." Caleb said.

He showed everyone what he was hiding under the table and Hope lowered her cup secretly letting the boy pour alcohol into it from a flask.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Landon sat next to Hope at the table.

"Go on help yourself. You can't possibly drink the stuff that they get for us."

"Um, I think I'm fine with it."

"Alright, it's your loss." Hope downed her drink like it was water and then shared the flask with the rest of the group drinking straight from it.

At some point in the night she spotted Josie by herself and remembered how the girl struggled with the crowds so she decided to walk there and take hold of her hands, bringing her closer to the table while Jo was slightly resisting.

"Hope no..no this is not necessary."

"Oh come on, have some fun Josie. We didn't go through that trouble of dressing you up for nothing. Guys this is Josephine."

"Hey beautiful." One of the girls sitting at the table said while eyeing Josie. Everyone could tell she was into girls and had taken a certain liking into her.

"Hi, um..what's your name?"

"I am Penelope, but you can call me yours anytime."

"Oh, starting strong I see." Hope whispered info Jo's ear but Josie was more surprised at the fact that Hope's voice was so close to her face than Penelope taking an interest in her.

"And I am Caleb, the saviour of the day."

"Well, you know me already." Landon said with a smile while Hope settled next to him again.

"Shall we play a game guys?" Penelope suggested and everyone agreed.

"I'll start first. I'll ask a question and if you can't answer it you have to drink. Landon, are you a virgin?"

The boy's cheeks got flustered and everyone could tell he was feeling embarrassed, drinking also pointed out the fact that he was indeed a virgin.

"Awe we all gotta start somewhere right."
