The next morning Hope returned to her tent so she could change and get ready for the day as she was the main organizer of the talent show and much depended on her. Her stress was through the roof and she had no one to talk with now that Josie was giving her the cold shoulder.

"Where did you disappear to last night, Mikaelson?"

"I bet she was somewhere hitting it off with a guy or something."

Some of her roommate's teased and Hope gave them off a fake smile, not wanting to admit she spent half of her night sleeping outside on a bench because of Josie. When they left the room Hope turned to Josie who seemed occupied on her bed.

"You know this can't happen again, I have to stay here tonight whether you like it or not."

"Sharing a bed with Landon doesn't do it for you, huh? Well, too bad."

Josie closed her book angrily and stood up from her bed walking past Hope to go and get breakfast. Hope's eyes followed her and she barely spoke up before Josie was out of the entrance.

"The guard found me last night, Josie. And your dad helped me sleep somewhere warm."

"Oh, of course he did. You're his weakness after all."

Hope watched Josie leave and breathed out heavily, it felt like a burden was now upon her shoulders, she felt guilty for growing a bond with Alaric, she felt guilty for not controlling her impulsive behaviours that only caused damage to those she loved. However, she tried to put on a smile and her best make up yet as everyone was counting on her to put on a good show.

After several hours the campers and staff had taken their seats and the show was about to begin. In the opening act the dance routine was perfectly excecuted and everyone cheered loudly. Josie turned to Penelope with a huge proud smile and before anyone realized the two of them were kissing on stage, and now the crowd was cheering for them instead. Hope on the other hand, was literally burning up by her anger and was certain that Josie was just trying to get back to her for what she did. This was an all time low between them and she couldn't see a way out of it.

The show went on as normal and everything was coordinated perfectly however Hope couldn't find Lizzie anywhere and it was almost her time to perform. She decided to drop everything and look for her, checking her tent first and then going to the girl's bathroom where she was, standing against a mirror and breathing heavily.

"You're up next, what's taking so long?"

"Ugh, get lost Mikaelson. You're the last person I want to talk to right now--"

Lizzie said feeling breathless and leaning against the sink clearly in some type of distress.

"What's the matter? Oh god, you look like you're burning up."

"I..I can't breathe.. there's too many people..I'm scared.."

Hope ran towards the other girl and got some water on her hands, then gently wiped Lizzie's forehead and cheeks letting the cold water do its job. Then she showed her how to breathe slowly and regain her normal rate as they breathed together for a couple of minutes.
