36. Batman and Robin

Everyone was now inside the villa playing a chasing game, when really they were just trying to get away from the auburn who was more than ready to kick their ass at this point after the prank they pulled.

"You're not getting away with this, you devils, you messed with the wrong person. Come back here!"

"Believe it or not it was Josie's idea!!"

Landon said while defending himself with a pillow which Hope punched several times making him flinch in fear of getting hit in the face.

"Oh, of course it was you pumpkin."

Hope turned to look at Josie standing at the kitchen drenched, and her mind unravelled about all the ways she could punish her for pulling such prank on her.

"Jokes aside, is anyone else getting hungry or is it just me?"

Rafael's stomach actually grumbled out loud at this point and everyone heard, making Hope finally drop her angry act.

"I bet my aunt has something for us all, let me check .." Hope headed to the kitchen, relieved when she opened the freezer and found steak which they could cook along with vegetables. "Is steak with veg okay for you guys?" Everyone looked at Hope's direction and noded. ''Let's get to work then, shall we?"

Josie looked at Hope giving her a head nod, and pulled out two knifes and a cutting board to start dicing the vegetables they would roast in the oven. Hope was standing against the counter, humming a song happily when she felt Josie's presence right behind her, her butt colliding with the front of the girl's bikini which was still drenched with water. Josie was pretending to reach for something right in front of the counter and while doing so her free hand roamed on Hope's thigh from the side, resting there for a few seconds.

"Oi, that's dangerously close little bird..."

"Watch the knife, hot mess. Don't want something happening to those beautiful fingers.."

Hope looked down at the board, she was about to mess up and direct the knife over her fingers instead of the bell pepper she was holding, letting Josie know she was absolutely distracted by her presence.

Finally Josie grabbed another pepper and moved out of the way, standing right next to the Mikaelson girl who was aiming her lips to Josie's right ear.

"I bet ya I know where you'd like those fingers next." Hope whispered.

Josie's cheeks burned up bright pink with Hope's sexual comment, the vegetables now being the least of her worries. The tension between them was becoming too strong to bare for much longer, and her body was making sure to let her know, as it was certainly not the water from the pool making her so wet.

Landon spotted Rafael sipping the tequila bottle by himself at the pool and sat down next to him.

"Hey, can we talk? There is something I need to get off my chest."

"Uh-oh, you sound concerned. What's up?"

"We never really got around talking about what happend with Hope, and from the way you have been looking at her today I can tell you're still thinking about getting her in your bed. It's either that or you wanna kill her."

"Can it be both?" Rafael released a laugh.

"On a serious note, I am not completely over her either but she said it herself she is off limits, for whatever reason, and we need to respect that."

"Even if she was available, there is no way in hell I would do anything with her. I can clearly see how it's affecting you and to be completely honest..I miss my best friend."
