Hope looked at the salvaging waterfall with only one idea in her mind. She walked far ahead of the group and took her shirt off and threw it on the side, revealing her sports bra underneath making her friends whistle at the sight. Lizzie rolled her eyes, she knew Hope was a show off and would use any chance to put herself on the spot but when she removed her jeans Lizzie placed a hand over Josie's eyes, making clear that the sight was off limits to her.
"Damn, are you really going for this? We don't know if the waters are safe Hope."
"What's the worst that can happen?"
Hope proceeded into the water, and when her toes came in touch with the crystal lake she almost screamed. It was colder that expected, but it was just what they needed after walking under the sun for hours on end. She decided to dive in and everyone approached the lake looking at her, some of them tempted to do the same so they took their own clothes off.
"So how is it? Is it safe?" One of the girls shouted at Hope.
"It's..amaz...oh crap--"
Landon sensed something was wrong with Hope and stepped into the water with his shoes on to help the girl who simply started laughing at this point and making fun of him for being so worried.
"Just kidding.. get your asses in here now! It's amazing."
"I swear I'm gonna kill her." Lizzie sighed out and watched her sister run towards the waterfall while taking her top off. She shook her head but there was nothing else she could do to control her. After a few minutes most of the campers were enjoying the crystal water like they were in heaven.
While Lizzie was busy making out with Sebastian at the shore, Hope used her chance to approach Josie from behind and tackle her into the water, Josie gasped in suprise at the unexpected push. When she turned to face the troublemaker, she was expecting to see Penelope but Hope was there instead with drenched hair and her crystal blue in her eyes popping out because of the water. She looked stunning, to say the least.
"You are in a good mood today."
"Let me point out we are swimming in what basically feels like heaven. I can't even feel how sore my legs were now."
"I've never seen a waterfall before in my life. I mean that up close..it almost doesn't feel real."
"Come with me, I have something to show you."
Hope started swimming towards the waterfall and reached the waterfront looking back at Josie who was merely catching up to her. She was ready to cross it and Josie hesitated, looking at how powerful it was.
"Don't be scared, it's only water Josie. It can't hurt you."
"Fine, but let's make it quick."
Hope found Josie's hand under the water and they both stepped under the waterfall and further into the dark cave that was hiding behind it. Josie felt speechless when they discovered the cave and Hope smiled while studying Josie's surprised expression.
