"I just don't want to hurt you Hope."

"Stop holding back damn it."

Just then Rafael attempted a third attack, and threw himself towards Hope, picking her up and then landing back on the grass. The girl's reaction was fast as she managed to regain her composure and climb on Rafael's body, pinning both of his hands down with the weight of her knees and choking him on the neck again. The boy smiled in distress and tapped the floor several times to show that he needed to be released soon. Hope landed on the grass next to him feeling breathless but quite good about herself.

"Just because you're fighting a woman shouldn't mean you let your guard down."

"I'm sure you'll be bragging about this to your friends."

Hope laughed and looked over at Rafael who was starring at the sky while everyone around them where still practicing.

"We definitely need a rematch. Although I would still kick your ass."

"I'll take a rematch with you anyday..."

Rafael looked at the girl's blue eyes who were starring at him with such passion and wanted to do a lot more than fight Hope. However, they were interrupted by their coach.

"Alright everyone we are finished for today. You have an hour to clean up and then you must attend your chosen clubs."

"What club are you going to next, Hope?"

"I guess you'll have to look around if you want to find me."

In the girls showers Hope was showering next to Josie and Lizzie who was several showers down was complaining all about how sweaty and hot it was during their lesson.

"They might as well torture us next time!"

"Agreed! I hated those sweaty boys touching me. I bet they loved that lesson."

"If only I could fight against my handsome prince.. I wouldn't mind the hotness."

Just then Hope walked in on Josie's shower and Josie gasped, covering her breasts feeling embarrassed.

"Your sister is going to drive everyone insane. By the way, do you have a hair conditioner? I forgot mine."

"Ugh, Hope. You could have asked me through the curtain. Here take it!"

"Are you shy, little pumpkin? Relax I'm leaving."

Hope smiled sweetly and tried not to stare too much at wet Josie who was already burning red and shoving her out of there.

After their shower the girls were dressing up and fixing their hair and make up. Hope was combing her wet hair when Josie approached her.

"I need that conditioner back you know. And next time please give me a warning before walking in on me."

"I left it there for you, sorry that was my bad. I didn't think you'd be upset."

"I wasn't upset, just..surprised."

"Anyway, how did your practice go?"

"Uh fighting is not really my thing. I'm more into logic and strategy games. I'm going to chest club next."

"Oh, that's cool. You strike me as a smart type. I'm going to arts club."

"You know how to draw?"

"Yeah I've been drawing since I was five."

"Cool. Have fun in there, I'll see you at lunch time."

"See ya pumpkin."

Josie rolled her eyes playfully and walked off going to her chest club and shortly after Hope joined the arts club who was set further deep in the forest where it was quiet and peaceful. There were easels laid out all over the place and when everyone settled down the teacher asked them to focus on a certain point of view and draw the forest while listening to the sound of birds and the wind gushing through. The session went by smoothly and Hopes mind was feeling light as a feather. At lunch time everyone had gotten chatty while eating their food and Hope picked up her tray and looked around for a seat. Landon waved his hand at her and she decided to join him and the rest of his friends she met yesterday.

"There you are. Had fun fighting my best friend?"

"Your best friend??" Hope settled down and started eating her apple.

"Yeah I've seen you and Rafael wrestling on the grass. You might have possibly hurt his ego by putting him down like that."

"Whoa I didn't know he was-- yeah, I think he also possibly let me get away with it this time just because I was a girl."

"I would have done the same."

"Oh shut up, you don't stand a chance against me Landon."

"Say what?" Landon smiled and threw some of his food at Hope playfully.

"Oh, you did not just do that!" Hope glared at the curly haired boy and decided to counter attack him by throwing her own food.

The rest of the table started throwing food at each other as well and it wasn't long before the whole cafeteria joined in the food fight. Luckily, one of the staff members blew the whistle and everyone stopped.

"What are you guys, like ten?? Stop this absolute madness and eat your food. Show some respect please! Also this table, you're all staying after to clean up."

"Well, don't look at me. He started it all."

Hope said while everyone at her table were starring at her angrily. Landon leaned down in her ear and whispered something.

"I'm really sorry, I didn't think this would start a food fight."

After their lunch the specific group stayed up to clean up the space, with the girls swiping the food off the floor and the boys cleaning the tables. Landon approached Hope again who was singing quietly by herself while swiping.

"Hey you know how it's movie night tonight, right?"

"Yeah I know."

"Would you like to sit next to me? We never really had a chance to talk and get to know each other."

"You want to get to know me, Landon?"

"Sure, why not?"

"Careful what you wish for. But yeah, I'll sit with you."

"Great I will see you tonight."

Hope went back to her tent that afternoon for some well deserved rest and found Josie laying on her bed reading a book. She decided to join her without even asking, and Josie looked at her curiously with a smile. She even scooted over to give her some space on the bed.

"Well, hello there trouble maker."

"I guess you found my nickname too."

Josie laughed and looked back at her book trying to focus on reading while Hope was gazing at her book too.

"What are you reading pumpkin?"

"It's a mystery murder gerne. Agatha's Christie Death on the Nile."

"Oh, I love a good mystery."

"You can borrow this after I'm finished. I'll leave it on your bed."

"How about you read some for me now?"

"Uh, sure. As long as you don't make fun of me."

Josie started reading out loud and Hope listened to her voice quietly, enjoying the sweet sound that soon enough helped her to fall asleep since she was rather tired from the full day of activities. When Josie felt Hope's head leaning heavily on her shoulder she realized the girl was asleep and just left her be. She kept reading in her head quietly for about an hour, enjoying their little moment.
