(* Hii!! It's me >:) I took a little break without telling y'all and I do apologize for that. But I'm back and hopefully will be able to update regularly- if not I'll let you guys know!
Okay, so this chapter will not sound exactly like the one where the Samsara hit them. (The beginning of a dream))
I'm also trying to move the story along so we can meet other characters like Cyno and Alhaitham ^^)
~(Y/N)~
Meanwhile...
(Y/N) woke up to a familiar scene before her, Paimon was barely awake; stretching her arms out. But the officer thought nothing of it, she figured it was just a normal morning and laid in bed for a little longer.
Soon afterwards, noises and shifting can be heard from Aether's side of the room. Paimon successfully woke him up, and she glided happily around him. (Y/N) glanced over at the blonde sitting at the edge of his bed, he looked like he was in a daze.
"Aether..? Something wrong?" Paimon questioned.
"Huh? Oh- no.. I'm just getting used to the daylight.." he trailed off.
Finally sitting up on her bed, (Y/N) stretched out her arms and gave a quick yawn. Rubbing her eyes as she turn to face The Traveler; she opened her eyes to see him giving her a small smile.
"Good morning," he started, "how was your sleep?"
"It was really good, how about you?"
"Mine..? It was interesting.."
The girl tilted her head to the side in confusion, she wasn't sure why the male before her sounded off. However, she wasn't going to question The Traveler. There's probably something on his mind that he doesn't want to talk about.
"Cmon guys! Dunyarzad is waiting for us!" Paimon quickly reminded them as she pointed towards the door.
(Y/N) rose out of her bed and prepared to step outside the door when she noticed The Traveler wasn't moving an inch. She turned to face his direction and examined his facial expression. His face gave a mix of confused and worry, sorta like something wasn't supposed to happen.
"Aether..?" She called out.
He snapped his head back up and gave her another small smile, "I'm okay."
"If you're not feeling well today, I can go tell Dunyarzad to rearrange our meeting. I'm sure she'd understand!" Paimon reassured.
"No, no, I'm really okay. Just the morning jitters, let's get going before we make Dunyarzad wait longer." Aether quickly headed out the doors and lead the way down the pathway.
The walk to the waiting lady was rather quiet, no one made an effort to start up a conversation. Dunyarzad greeted the trio and quickly began to talk about her plans and an upcoming festival. They walked passed an alchemy bench, one that (Y/N) failed to notice earlier, but the scholar running the station made a scene that caught her attention.
After the Traveler calmed him down, he received a reading of sorts. One that piqued the young lady's interest. (Y/N) peeked over Aether's shoulders to get a better view of the talking student. He was going on and on about a moon symbol, and looked rather excited.
A few minutes have passed and the student finished his 'speech', Aether and Dunyarzad quickly thanked him and rushed away quickly. Soon afterwards, someone that looked like a female warrior came up to the group and exchange greetings with everyone.
She made (Y/N) inaudibly gasped in awe, look at those muscles! But this was something no one would notice- the Flame Mane glanced over at the officer and tried to check on her.
