~(Y/N)~
"Phew! That should wrap up the last of the escapees." the girl concluded as she wiped the sweat off her forehead.
"Yeah, thanks for the help, (Y/N). Your contributions won't be forgotten." Cyno did a quick bow before making his ways around his soldiers and gathering intel from the group.
Usually, Cyno would've cracked a joke or two by now but he's probably in work mode so there's no time for that. (Y/N) secretly thanked the Archons underneath her breath as she watched him walk away.
Tighnari walked up to her with a smile, signaling a small wave. "Any injuries from our general from Natlan?"
"Haha, nope! I'm all good-" she got caught up mid sentence with a massive pain in her head.
Crumbling to her knees, (Y/N) started to lose her vision little by little, and the pain was increasing by the second.
"(Y/N)?? Are you okay? Let me check-" Tighnari immediately tended to her, checking her forehead first for a fever.
"Hm, doesn't seem to be any fever.. maybe just a migraine due to stress? However, this seems to be more than your typical headache. I'll take you to Lesser Lord Kusanali, hang in there."- was the last thing she heard before she completely passed out due to the immense discomfort.

•(Y/N) opens her eyes to an unfamiliar scenery, she looks around with caution and subconsciously tried to summon her polearm- to no avail. Then she heard footsteps approaching her, turning to the direction of the sound she's face with an unfamiliar figure.
"Who are you?" she asked, keeping her guard up.
"Hah, guess like it worked already. No matter, I'll just have a chat with you before I go." the mysterious person said.
The girl stayed silent, it's not that she was afraid of whoever this guy was but it was more of a weird feeling. She felt like even if she couldn't summon her weapon to defend herself with, she had a feeling that this person wouldn't hurt her. Well at least the two won't be fighting, that definitely puts her at ease.
"You asked who I was? Well, you could say that we used to be 'something', but that's no longer important to you. I just wanted to see you one last time."
"You're acting really familiar with me and I still don't know your identity. How do I know you're not here to harm me?"
"Pft- harm you? I wouldn't hurt a single strand of your hair." he gave a small chuckle at that last part.
"Your laugh isn't very convincing."
"It wasn't to convince you, my love."
(Y/N) was taken aback by that the use of that title. What did he mean by calling her that? She has no memory of being in a relationship with this guy. For all she knows, she was on vacation and currently traveling with the Traveler and Paimon.
"I'm not your girlfriend. Please refrain from calling me that."
"You're right, you're not my girlfriend."
"Then what am I to you?"
"That's not something for you to worry about. I wouldn't want to confuse that pretty head of yours."
This guy... he keeps giving her compliments, and to her own surprise she doesn't mind them whatsoever. But that's a comment she'll keep to herself, she's still curious as ever about this man's identity.
