~(Y/N)~
A couple of days have passed since the start of the recovery of her memories. Now, she's currently settled inside the room that was provided by Lesser Lord Kusanali.
Thinking back to the day that she started to grow suspicion of the cyan-clothed guy, she wondered where it all started. Could he possibly be telling the truth or was he just joking around?
Although she can't exactly say that she knows he's lying, he could very well be telling the truth — she just can't prove anything at all with missing memories.
There are two scenarios that could play out: one, he's lying just to get under her skin and joke around. Two, he's telling the truth, and she needs to start digging deeper into why he said those words. The latter sounded more... appealing to the girl, not that she would admit it to anyone but herself, (Y/N) had always thought that the nameless guy was a mystery and was intrigued.
But would she pursue a relationship with him just because she found him interesting? She strongly doubted that. Yeah, he was cute, but she didn't even know his real personality. (Y/N) bet the one that she's actively seeing is a false one, he's trying to hide something from her.
All his interactions with her have seemed very... protective and supportive. Could he have been..- no, that can't be right. There's no way they were that intimate, she wouldn't have forgotten him otherwise.
Shaking her head at those thoughts, (Y/N) decided it was a great idea to get some fresh air after being cramped in this room for so long. She was allowed to move around and leave her room, but Nahida was adamant about having her stay inside the Sanctuary of Surasthana. But today will be the day that she'll get permission to leave!
Creeping out of her room, she scans her surroundings to find Nahida looking over some scrolls and books in the middle of the flower-shaped pedestal. Walking towards the tiny god, she didn't want to make it seem like she was snooping, so she made her presence known, although she was sure that Nahida sensed her there regardless if she made a noise or not.
"Ahem! Lesser Lord Kusanali?" she coughed.
The god turned around and gave (Y/N) a warm smile, "Good morning! You're addressing me by my title and everything, is there something you want to ask?"
She saw right through the girl, how unfortunate, but not surprising. "Ah yes, actually, I was wondering if I could finally go outside? I've been cramped up in my room and figured some fresh air would help me recover my memories better."
"Hehe, you don't need some excuse like that to convince me to let you go. I was planning on having you leave later, but since you want to leave now, go ahead! Just don't forget to stay safe and bring your spear."
"Of course! I always carry my polearm on my person! Thank you for letting me go out, I'll come back before it gets late." She bowed her head quickly before turning around to sprint through the doors.
Seeing the outside world felt so surreal, the trees, the birds chirping, (Y/N) could see it all. Not that she was being held prisoner there, it's just been so long since she's stepped foot outside. The girl could be a little dramatic, but who isn't?
Deciding to head towards the direction of the market, she passed by a few stalls and finally settled on a stall that was selling dolls. She was browsing through the few selections that the seller had before her eyes landed on this one specific one with a round hat.
