The general stood there for a moment, racking through her thoughts, only for a second as she already knew her answer. "I'll go inside his dreams. I'll save him no matter what."

Nahida gave her a sweet smile and nodded, turning her attention to the unconscious Scaramouche. Holding out her hand, she emits a green ray of dendro energy into his head.

"While you are inside his dreams, I'll be able to communicate with you here and there but for the most part, you have to help him on your own. After all, you are his fiancée! Oh and I must give you a warning before you go. You will be transported into a section of his dreams where he was feeling the most angry. Whether this was before or after you guys met, find a way to wake him up." 

"Feeling most angry..? So it would just be one instance or is it multiple? He's quite emotional." 

Chuckling at that last comment, Nahida turned to (Y/N). "Then it would depend on you, (Y/N). Whether you can convince him to wake up from the first scenario or the second one, it's all up to you." 

"Oh- I understand.. doesn't seem so hard."

"Any more questions before I send you on your way?" 

"I- hmm.. how will I know how to help him?" 

"Moments ago you seemed so eager to help this child, but now you're questioning your abilities? Humans are quite fascinating. Nevertheless, I will give you an answer when the time is right. For now, think of it as a way to make up for your guy's lost time." 

(Y/N) could only get embarrassed at the mention of their alone time together, talking about it with another person was already passed her limits but it's with a literal child. Yes, Nahida's an Archon but that doesn't exclude her from having innocent thoughts. Shaking her head from those incoming ideas, she turned her attention to the Scaramouche lying on the flower-shaped pedestal. 

"Go ahead and lie down next to him, that way it'll be easier to connect your minds together. This will not effect you as you yourself are not here physically, just your body without the concepts of a soul."

Following the instructions of the Archon, the general quickly made her way towards her fiancé and laid down right next to him. Looking at his closed eyes made (Y/N)'s heart tingle a bit, the thought of him at his angriest moments right now didn't sit right with her. She knows how emotional he gets, and he doesn't have a good grip on controlling his emotions either. But then again, who is she to say anything about his emotional state when hers isn't in the best place either? She just hopes there's a way for her to help Scaramouche out so at least he'll be relieved of those thoughts. Letting out a small breath, she closed her eyes, awaiting the transfer of her mind into his.

Nahida did her magic quickly, as (Y/N) immediately felt the familiar dendro energy engulf her brain and filled her up with images of Scaramouche and everything they did together. Then she felt as if her soul was being lifted from her body and set straight into his, (Y/N) tried her hardest not to panic as this was not an everyday thing for the girl. She had full trust in Nahida so she stayed still until she got a signal from the Archon.

"You can open your eyes now." Nahida's voice felt like it was right next to her but when she flickered her eyes open, the scenery completely changed and the Archon was no where in sight. 

"Where am I...?" 

"You're in his dream, silly! Now hurry, you must go find him and wake him up if you want your fiancé to come back sooner." She let out a giggle before her voice faded away.

Blinking a few more times to adjust her pupils to the now brighter surroundings, (Y/N) could feel that her body was resting on some wood. Looking around a bit more, she saw a bunch of boxes with a pole in the middle. Gripping on some planks behind her, she stands up and immediately felt the swaying of the water underneath her. Coming to the conclusion that she was on a docked boat, she quickly scanned for a place to get off the boat. Landing on a familiar hat, she noticed that the accessory looked oddly similar to the one that Scaramouche would often wear. She decided to head closer to that direction but then she heard people talking, so she decided to stay quiet a little longer to listen in on their conversation.
