His Fake Marriage

•A Bitter Reunion•

Making his way back to Sumeru City, the harbinger couldn't wait to get his hands on that fiancée of his. He could care less about the Traveler, Scaramouche felt that he just wasn't worth his time. After all, all his attention will now be on (Y/N)- that woman that betrayed him yet again. It's getting to the point where he was starting to feel a bit pathetic. Letting a woman deceive him for the second time is quite... embarrassing in his opinion.

Following in Dottore's footstep, they had made their way into the Akademiya without anyone noticing them. This must be thanks to whatever connections the Doctor has in Sumeru City. Not that Scaramouche cared, he was just using the man's research knowledge to gain more power. To be more specific, the power of a god- nothing would stop him from getting his revenge then.

Not only would he show that woman who she was messing with, he'd also get back at his creator for dumping him. Once he gets his new body via the mechanical puppet that Dottore has been "fangirling" about, he'd soon master the power of the Electro Gnosis. However, another idea had struck his head- Buer, the God of Wisdom still has her gnosis. Which means he can just kill her off and obtain another chess piece, so if Dottore wants to start acting funny Scaramouche will have the power of two gnosis' to end all of the Doctor's lives. 

Smirking at his knowledgeable brain, he started to look forward to seeing (Y/N) again- of course, it was for a completely different reason then what anyone else would think. After all, he had to capture her alive for his master plan to begin. 

"Lost in thought are we. Balladeer?" Dottore had questioned, stopping in the main library.

"Not that you would care what I think about, keep it moving old man."

"There's no where else to move, we wait here."

"For what exactly? I don't have all day to accompany you on your shenanigans, I actually have things to do."

"It won't take long... we just have to wait on some guests."

Scaramouche gave him a look of confusion but the Doctor just simply gave him a weird smile before picking up a book to occupy himself. The Balladeer looked at the other man in more confusion as he's never seen Dottore do something as normal as reading a book. Someone as insane in the head as him wouldn't just be sitting in the middle of an empty library, quietly enjoying a book.

Then the Second Harbinger looked up from his reading material, "I would have a seat if I were you, we're going to be waiting here for a while. Our guests are taking their time snooping around."

"Snooping around? Are you referring to the Traveler and (Y/N)?"

"You're not as dumb as I thought you were, that is indeed who I was referring to."

"Shut up before I blow your brains out."

"My, my, your threats get worse every minute I spend with you."

"I didn't think I would be seeing that woman so suddenly."

The Doctor didn't respond to Scaramouche's last statement, rather he just continued to flip through his book. The puppet got slightly annoyed at this blue haired mad man, how dare he ignore him. Whatever, he'll just have to wait for (Y/N) to come to him.

However, Scaramouche couldn't just sit around with Dottore, being in the same vicinity as that maniac made his head hurt even more- reminds him of his migraine again. He decided to walk around the library, glancing at some opened books on some of the tables: one of them just happens to be a romance novel. Drawing in his attention, the novel left off on a scene where the male lead reunites with the female lead. The pair was so ecstatic to see one another, the girl ran into the boy's arms and they engulfed each other with their warmth and fell on to the soft grass.
