"Why aren't we following him when he goes home?" Serge asked, annoyed from the passenger side. They were using Deborah's car now. "It's been a week already. Do you really think she's still here?"

They were parked in front of the diner as Roger looked at Shawn through the window. "I know he has her. I'm just giving him a peace of mind. Make him think we don't suspect him, so he slips. He's going to lead me somewhere that would help me get to her." He opened the glove compartment and took out a gun.

Serge opened his eyes wide and looked at the gun. "What is that for?" He asked nervously.

"To make her more willing." He said winking.

"Okay, look. There he goes." Serge pointed at Shawn that was leaving the diner on foot with an order in his hand.

Roger turned on the car and slowly started following him. Shawn cut through the park as he felt the car following him. He was wondering when they would try this shit. Roger stopped looking as Shawn disappeared through the park. "What's on the other side?"

"Those apartments where Deborah was staying, a few shops and the hospital." Serge answered.

Roger pushed the gas and tried circling the park. It was going to take him longer, he was going to miss him. The street was quiet, too quiet. He passed the apartments and the shops and didn't see any movement. The hospital only had a few cars in the parking lot. As he was going to turn, he saw him. Shawn was giving the bag to an older woman and this woman kissed his cheek and hugged him before he turned around and jogged back to the park. "Get out and follow that woman. That might be our key right there." Roger said as Serge got out of the car and followed Wilma inside the hospital.

Shawn jogged back to the diner. He saw the car. They were using Deborah's car now. As if he wouldn't notice. They weren't being too smart. But now they were into him. It was a good thing he only went to the hospital to drop off the food for his mother.

The door opened and Roger walked in. He walked directly to the counter where Shawn was wiping the top. "Hello. I thought you guys would be gone by now." Shawn said.

"Has my sister called you for that check you said she has left?"

"No, she hasn't called. Sorry."

"Look. I know she's still here. And we are not leaving until I find her." Roger said, grabbing Shawn by his collar and dragging him on top of the counter.

Carl came out of the kitchen with a knife as Roger laughed. "Is ok, Carl. Go back to the kitchen." Shawn said, fixing his shirt. At that moment, Serge walked in and nodded at Roger. He turned around and both left.

"Are you okay, sir?" Carl asked.

"I'm fine. It's going to be too dangerous for me to get to Deborah tonight. We are going to have to switch cars. Are you okay with that?"

"Anything to keep Deborah safe." Carl said as they both watched the two men get in the car and drive away.

"So, who's the old lady?" Roger asked as they drove back to the motel.

"She's related to Shawn, obviously. They share the same last name. She's there taking care of a sick man."

"She looks like she likes expensive things. We could bribe her."

"Why don't we go right now and see her?"

"We need to do this right."
