On her break, Deborah left the diner quickly before Shawn could ask her questions. She was going to see Gina. It was during the day. How bad would it be? She headed to the park. She followed the instructions in the letter to find the address. The trail ended and there was a dirt path between some trees. She hesitated before going in. She looked around and pushed the branches out of her way. She walked for a few minutes, she started to feel like someone was watching her. She started to regret coming here by herself. She should've listened to Shawn. She started to turn around and crashed into something hard knocking her to the ground. She looked up and saw Nelson staring down at her.

"Are you lost?" He asked as he offered her his hand to help her up.

"No. I am fine." She refused his hand. She got up and brushed off her clothes.

"What are you doing around these parts?"

"That's none of your business, Nelson." She tried to walk past him.

He grabbed her arm and pulled her back. She tried to get loose. "You better tell me or I won't let you go."

"You better let me go, now!"

"Or what? Are you going to scream? No one is going to hear you. You are in quite a pickle right now, aren't you?"

"Let go." She started kicking his legs as he just laughed. He grabbed her waist and picked her up, throwing her over her shoulder. "What are you doing? Put me down right now!"

"Kick all you want, you're coming with me." He kept walking deeper into the path. No one will hear her now. Did Gina set her up? No, she couldn't. Nelson must've followed her here and taken advantage that she was by herself. But why? What was his plan?

They got into a clearing and there was his car waiting. He opened the trunk and threw her in it before shutting it. "Hey! Let me go. What are you doing?" She started punching on the trunk. She felt the car start moving. She kept kicking and screaming until her lungs ached. After what seemed like forever, the car stopped. She heard the door open and his footsteps nearing her. As soon as he opened the trunk, she kicked his face hard and jumped out and started running. She quickly felt two hands around her waist pulling her back. "Let me go, what do you want from me?" She cried.

"You are going to pay." He said pulling her into a run down building.

"For what?"

"For rejecting me that first time at the diner." He opened the door of the building and pushed her inside. It was dark. He turned on the light. There was a bed in a corner, no windows. She jumped as she heard him lock the door behind them. He grabbed her arm and pulled her towards the bed. She started pulling back. He punched her, knocking her out. He picked her up and threw her on the bed. He took out some rope from under the bed, tied her up and covered her mouth. Then left, locking the door behind him.

After break, Shawn waited for Deborah to get back. She left in such a hurry. He let her go, giving her space. Maybe that's all she needed. After everything he threw at her last night, it was too much for her. Wilma walked into the diner. "It smells so clean in here, honey."

"Well, we spent all morning scrubbing off the blood."

"I'm hoping she helped you, seeing as it was her fault."

"Of course she did, mom."

"Where is she? She should be here already."

"I don't know, she was feeling overwhelmed before her break."

"Did you talk to her?"

"What do you mean?"

"Did you tell her that you are going to stand by your wife? Shawn, this woman needs to know this, otherwise she won't leave you alone. And right now you need to concentrate on making sure July gets healthy. No distractions."

"Mom, please."

"Shawn, I'm serious! You can't keep seeing this woman while you're trying to make your marriage work."

"Again, I'm not trying to make my marriage work. I'm only staying by her side until she gets better. Get that in your head."

"Whatever you say. But in the meantime, she needs to know. I think it is fair."

"Since when do you care about me being fair to her?"

"I wouldn't like a man doing that to me."

"I did talk to her, okay, mom?"

"How did she take it? Is she leaving town?"

"No, mom. She's not leaving, she's looking for her family. Unless you want to help her with that."

"I would never help her. I hope she did leave. Well, I have to get back to the hospital. Make sure you close up early and go see your wife, she was asking for you. And pick up Andrew from his grandparents' house. Bye." She left. Shawn looked at the clock. Deborah had never been late coming back from her breaks. Where was she? Did she really leave? No, she didn't have anywhere else to go. Maybe she went back to the cabin. He was going to let her have her space. He'll check on her tomorrow when he picks her up for work.
