"Where are you taking me?" Deborah asked as Shawn led her through the park.

"To see Gina."

"Can't it wait? I would really like to shower and change."

"No, I promised her I would let her know as soon as I knew something about you."

They passed the dirt road between the overgrown trees. And walked through the dark path. She held tight to his hand. They got to a clearing where you could see the back of Gina's house. They got to a narrow path, where only one person could go by at a time. And they were in front of a door. Shawn knocked and waited. A few minutes later they heard a couple of locks being turned on the door and it opened. "Hi." Gina said. "Please, come in."

They walked into the house and there were pictures all over the walls. Deborah stared at them. There were pictures of a young Marilyn and then pictures of her parents, of a young Roger and even some pictures of her when she was younger. "Why do you have these pictures?" Deborah asked.

"Do you recognize them?" Gina asked her as she stood next to her.

"These are my family, my mother and my father, my brother and me!"

"So it is you!" Gina said, grabbing Deborah's face and kissing her cheek. "You're Marilyn's daughter."

"That was your daughter, that means... that means you are my grandmother?"

"Yes, dear." They hugged.

"Shawn, I found my family." Deborah cried.

"Yes, you did. Deborah, will you be okay here? I need to go speak to my dad's new doctor."

"She'll be fine. We are going to get to know each other." Gina said, pushing him out as Deborah smiled and waved at him. Gina closed the door after he left and turned back to Deborah. "Come, sit. You must have so many questions." They walked into the living room and sat down.

"How come you knew about me and I knew nothing about you? You have pictures of me from where I was younger, so my dad obviously sent them."

"After you were born, James took you away. He didn't want you to know the truth of your birth and he wanted to make sure it stayed like that. He kept me on the loop for a few years, until the letters and pictures stopped coming. I figured you being older, it was harder for him to keep the secret. You grew up to be a wonderful young woman. He did a great job raising you, considering you weren't his daughter."

"I always thought he hated me. We didn't have such a great relationship. He wasn't affectionate towards me at all, and had me doing all the chores in the house. But he did make sure I had a good education. Roger and I on the other hand never got along. He made me suffer a lot. He couldn't forgive me for mom's death. I first came to town running away from a toxic relationship and from my dad. Roger found me and kidnapped me. Forced me to marry my ex and he treated me horribly. I was able to see my dad before he died and he told me about what happened to my mom and that I still had family here, but he never told me who I had to look for. I always thought my mom's name was Mary, not Marilyn."

"Your father called her Mary. He loved her dearly. I'm so sorry you went through all that. Roger was always difficult, and wouldn't respect anyone, except your mother. Those two had a connection that he couldn't have with anyone else. It was exceptionally harder for him when she died. He was so little, but showed so much hate for everyone else. What happened to him?"

"I was able to escape and came back determined to find my family, when he got here and killed my ex at the diner and shot Carl. They were already looking for him back home for kidnapping me. They arrested him here and transferred him back home. I don't know if I'll ever forgive him."

"I understand. Where did Shawn find you? The day I gave you the envelope I heard a commotion outside in the path and the next day I went to the diner to ask Shawn about you. We came back to the path and he found your bracelet in the ground, we figured you were taken."

"Wilma and Nelson had taken me."

"Those two, always up to no good. I always told your mother to watch out for them, but she was too trusting."

"Wilma paid Nelson to rape my mother, he's my real father."

"I always had my suspicions about him, because of the way he would always look at her and follow her around. But I would never have thought Wilma would step so low and do that."

"She's done a lot. Shawn lost his memory for a while after a beating Roger gave him. So she convinced him to marry his ex who he had broken up with years ago. Then paid a doctor to make Shawn believe his wife had mental issues that he had to stay with her and help her through. They even lied about her being pregnant. What type of mother would do that to her son?"

"Do you love him?"

Deborah blushed at the question. "Yes. I do."

"And I suppose he feels the same way, I see the way he looks at you. And the way he got when he figured you were taken away, it told me a lot."

"I hope now we can finally be together. We don't have his mother interfering or his wife acting crazy."

"You two make a great couple. I hope so too. Now, why don't you go up to your mother's old room. There should be something that fits you and take a shower. You can rest while Shawn gets back. I'm sure you're exhausted."

"Thank you." Deborah got up and kissed the old lady's cheek.

"It's the first room to the left and the bathroom is right across from it."
