An unexpected encounter.

I was walking while holding some paper to revise before the next exam I never liked revising but I had to do it since it was a trigonometry test and I suck at it. Suddenly I pumped into someone and it hurt as f*ck, all the paper in my hand was on the floor, I looked up at the person I pumped into and it was Arlo.

"Great, him of all people, it's fine John just don't screw everything up again." I thought. "Ugh, this us getting annoying you know, can you please watch where you are going?" Arlo said with a slight irritated tone.

"Sorry." I said while collecting the fallen paper and surprisingly he helped me collect them and walked off. "Uh, thank you." I said. He just ignored me and continued to walk.

I remembered that I have an exam so I started to run to go there before the exam starts.

"This went better than I expected." I said while smiling, the exam went quite well so I was happy. Today I was planning to buy a new phone since I talked with dad about it on the computer and he sent me some money. I went to Grey and Ashlyn's class to ask them if they want to come along with me.

But as I was about to go there a kid came over to me and pinned me to a wall. "Hey, it's the cripple!" The kid said with a grin. He then activated his ability and was about to throw a punch at me I parried it and gave him an elbow attack on his nose he backed off a little and his nose started to bleed. Two more kids came apparently they were his friends or they just wanted to join the John Haunting competition.

But before anyone could do anything Arthur came, "Hey, leave him alone..." He said in calm and composed tone. "Hey, you are Arthur right? The new kid, you think just because you walk with Ashlyn and Grey you can do whatever you want huh?" The one who attacked me first said before trying to punch Arthur, Arthur just parried it and punched him in the face the other two activated their abilities and was about to attack him.

I was tired of these situations, I want to stop all this bullshit. I decided to intervene but before I could do anything. Grey came and he was pissed. His eyes were glowing pure white with slight black from his eyes making it appear black and white. I still couldn't read his aura. "Maybe he has a similar ability to mine?" I thought as Grey destroyed the three bullies. And walked over to me, "Hey, you okay John?" He said with a light smile. "Yes, sorry for being a burden to you guys." I said to him and Arthur.

"Don't worry about it." Arthur said and Grey nodded. Ashlyn came as she probably had heard the noise from the party that Grey made with the three bullies. "John, Arthur are you okay?" She said we both nodded. "Oh right you guys wanna come with me? I'm going to buy a new phone." I asked them and the agreed to come with me.

Me, Ashlyn, Arthur and John were walking to woaba boba after John bought the new phone, he kept begging us to come with him so we agreed as we wanted to change a bit since it has been a while since we went to woaba boba.

We ordered the mango boba for all of us, Arthur liked it a lot as he almost had stars in his eyes, even tho he is usually composed he was after all a kid who had a harsh childhood. John kept bragging about how he was the one who introduced us to this place.

"Hey, is that who I think it is?" Ashlyn said and I looked over as well and I noticed a boy with two boys and a girl. The first boy had a red hair and the second had an orange hair and the girl I recognized as Remi. Ashlyn recognized Remi when I asked her about her before as Remi was off school for family matters and came back a few days ago and Ashlyn said that Remi greeted her when they met at school and she was super friendly.

Remi had noticed us too and they walked over to our table. They sat, "Hey there, fancy meeting you here." Ashlyn said to Remi, "Thanks, let me introduce you to my friends, Grey, Ashlyn and John, meet Isen and Blyke." She said as she motioned the two to say hi. They greeted us and we introduced them to Arthur and John, Then we started to talk.

"So Remi, Ashlyn told me that you were off school for some family matters, if I may be so bold can I ask what happened?" I asked her as she seems to be saddened a bit. "Um, my brother died a while ago." She said as she was holding back tears. "I'm really sorry for your loss, and sorry for reminding you." I said to her. "No no it's ok." She replied. "What was his name?" Ashlyn asked. "His name was Rei." She said in a sad tone. My eyes widened as I heard the name. " You are Rei's sister?" I asked. "You knew Rei?" She asked a bit shocked. "Yes, he was a friend of mine and Ashlyn, I think I should have noticed since he told me he had a sister in wellston." I answered. "I'm really sorry for your loss, Rei's death was really sad." I said to Remi.

We then decided to change the subject as we don't want to bring up bad memories, after a while each of us went our separate ways.
