[ARLO]

[The roof]

I was on the roof planning my next move, as things are going as I want it to be, John is slowly but surely eating the bait. I just need to nourish the idea that I might be a friend to him so he'll fall into my trap, however as I was thinking I heard the roof's door open, I look to see who opened it.

It turns out to be John. "Perfect." I thought, I need to sound normal as to not raise his suspicion in me as if I acted friendly that might make him wary of me. "What are you doing here?" I said. "Uh, eating here?" He replied, I gave him a deadpan look then I decided to talk. "But you are not even allowed to eat here, this place is for royals only."

He just ignored me as he started to walk and sat. "Well, no one stopped me before and I usually eat here away from all the annoying students. I gave him a death but he ignored it. "And what makes you think I wont beat you up right now?" I asked him still with the death glare.

"You won't, if you wanted to do this you would have already done it." He replied. "Order must be kept in order for this society to advance." I said. "Well, who said you are not keeping your "order" thing, you were able to keep all these people in line except for one person, you should be proud, that means you are that good at your job." He replied.

However before this conversation could advance further he had already finished his food and decided to leave but before he did he suddenly stopped. "However Arlo, I'm sorry for misunderstanding you last time, I'm really thankful for you helping me out after these idiots ganged up on me." He said with a smile. I was irritated, this guy thinks he can slack off and depened on people saving him even though he have more than enough power to protect himself, he is disgusting. "I didn't do it to save you nor help you, I merely did it because they are not allowed to gang up on one person as that doesn't follow the ranking rules." I replied as he just left.

[REMI]

I was walking normally when I suddenly saw a poster, it had a list of names on it, I read it and found that it's a poll on which superhero would die next. I got angry and my anger increased when I saw my brother's name there "X-STATIC" as it had a horizontal line on it indicating that he already died, I couldn't hold my tears as I held the paper and used my ability to burn it and threw what was left of it.

"Are you okay?" My eyes widened as I heard a familiar voice, I looked up to see who was talking and it was Grey. "Y-yeah, I am, I just got something in my eyes." I said as I wiped my eyes. Grey just chuckled, "You really think I'd believe that?" He said. I just couldn't hold it back anymore as I started crying even more.

"Hey, I know it must be hard to lose your brother in such a way, but he wouldn't be happy seeing you mourn over him for too long." Grey said while patting my head. "How did you meet Rei?" I asked him while trying to stop my tears. "Meet me at the roof after half an hour, I'll tell you everything." Grey said with a smile. I nodded as I wanted to know if he would know why Rei became a vigilante and why was he murdered. And then he left and I decided to go to class.

I was at the roof waiting for Grey thinking about what he could tell me. Suddenly he opened the roof door and entered, "Oh, you are already here, good." He said as he sat down. "Now you promised that you'd tell me everything, how did you meet Rei and do you know why he became a vigilante?" I asked, "Oh, girl aren't you a fast one, Okay I'll tell you. I met Rei two years ago in one of the abandoned towns that no one of the authorities care about, these places where a single high tier could terrorize the entire town, he was still a newbie in this vigilante thing and was about to get badly hurt but I saved him." Grey said and my eyes widened. "Wait! You were a vigilante too?" I asked.

"Indeed I was, However I wasn't really popular as I was very very careful about my secret Identity. Anyways as I was saying Rei was still new so he was about to get badly hurt by a high-tier who was terrorising the town, I intervened and saved him and after that we became friends and after a while we got more closer and we exchanged our identities and started helping people together, I wasn't as strong as I am now as Back them I was still 16 and didn't have much experience as I am now, But still I was incredibly strong." Grey said. "You're 18 and you are still in 2nd Grade?" I asked him. "Yes, I missed two years due to an incident that happened." Grey said and I could see anger in his eyes. I decided that I shouldn't push more info out of him and I asked him one last question. "Why did Rei become a vigilante?" I asked him. "Well, the answer is simple, would you sit around and watch the people suffer while you have the power to help them?" He asked me. "Absolutely no." I replied. "Same thing was Rei, he had the morals to protect the weak and the catalyst to his vigilante carrier was unordinary the book that was released two years ago." Grey said. I nodded as I understood what he meant, although I haven't read unordinary, it appears to have an idea that the society refuses to believe in. And that idea inspired Rei to be a Vigilante.

"Well, thanks Grey for answering my questions, and for helping my brother." I said to him. "Don't thank me after all I wasn't there to save him from being murdered." Grey said in a sad tone. "Well, you couldn't always be there to help him, and what if the enemy was too strong? You could have just died too." I replied. "No... I'm strong, I could have saved him, but it had to be this one time that I wasn't there with him." He said in a shallow voice. We sat there for a while before we decided to go our separate ways.
